Ramen Poutine From Imadake

Imadake in Atwater is a Japanese Izakaya Restaurant, and this year, they're serving "Ramen Poutine."
Last time I was there, it's very busy around 6:30 PM and this time, I went there soon after they opened.
As I was alone, I sat at a bar counter and ordered Ramune, a Japanese soda, and the Ramen Poutine.
Sadly, this Ramune wasn't cold but lukewarm.

The description was "home made Char Siu pork, marinated soft boiled egg and Japanese gravy, the last of which sounded mysterious...
In the bowl, there're also a piece of seaweed (= Nori), spinach, menma (= bamboo shoots) and the beige objects were fried noodles.

The description was "home made Char Siu pork, marinated soft boiled egg and Japanese gravy, the last of which sounded mysterious...
The noodles were crispy but a bit oily.
Unlike regular fries, the potatoes were wedge cut and large, and it's difficult to catch other ingredients with this.
Cheese curds had light squeakiness.
Char Siu was broiled and it had fragrant flavor.
The pork was juicy and soft, and it's seasoned well.
The seasoned soft boiled egg was light beige outside (egg white) and the yolk was moist, and only the surface touching the egg white was cooked through.
The "Japanese gravy" tasted like salt flavored ramen soup with lots of black pepper.
It's much lighter than gravy sauce and the taste itself was good, but with the large wedge cut, the sweetness of the potatoes was stronger than the peppery gravy.
Ramune: 4 CND dollars

前回行った際、18時半頃にはとても混雑していたので、開店後すぐに行ってきた。
1人だったのでバーカウンターに座り、ラムネとラーメン プーティンを頼んだ。
ラムネは冷えていなくて少し生ぬるく、残念だった。
ラーメン プーティン
説明には自家製チャーシュー、半熟の味玉、ジャパニーズ グレービーと書いてあり、
グレービーに関しては謎だった。
器には上記に加えて海苔、ほうれん草、メンマ、揚げた麺が入っていた。
揚げた麺はカリッとしていたけれど、少し油っこかった。
ポテトはウェッジカットで大きかったので、他の具材と一緒に食べるのが難しかった。
チーズカードには歯ごたえが少しあった。
チャーシューは焼かれていたので香ばしい香りがし、ジューシーで柔らかく、味が
しっかりついていた。
味玉は白身が淡いベージュになっていて、黄身はしっとりして白身に触れている部分だけ
火が通っていた。
「ジャパニーズ グレービー」は塩ラーメンのスープに黒胡椒を大量に入れたような味で、
普通のグレービーよりもかなりあっさりとし、美味しかった。
ただ、大きなウェッジカットのポテトと食べると、胡椒の効いたグレービーよりも
ジャガイモの甘さの方が強かった。
