Poutine From Fabergé

Today's first poutine was from Fabergé in Mile End.
They're famous for breakfast and brunch, and they close early at 3 PM on weekdays and 4 PM on weekends.
The staffs were friendly and the restaurant looked cozy.
As I was alone, I sat at the counter.
They had many items on the menu.
They had 3 kinds of poutine; classic, breakfast poutine and steak.
Breakfast version comes with hollandaise sauce with poached egg like eggs benedict and steak comes with steak meat.
I always get classic from the places where I go for the first time.
On the plate, there're a pile of fries and shiny gravy sauce with some cheese curds.
Fries were medium thick and crispy.
What I liked the most was the spice they used over the fries.
Besides clear salt, I saw tiny red dots and it had some smokiness.
Many cheese curds were small to medium size, and they're soft without any squeakiness.
The gravy sauce was very starchy so that they gravy sauce was caught by the fries a lot.
It had sweet and salty flavor but mainly the saltiness might have been from the salt tossed with the fries.

店員は気さくで、店内も居心地の良さそうな雰囲気だった。
1人だったのでカウンターに座り、メニューを開くと沢山のメニューが載っていた。
プーティンは3種類あり、クラシック、朝食、ステーキがあった。
朝食版はエッグズベネディクトのようにオランデーズソースとポーチドエッグを乗せて
あり、ステーキはプーティンの上にステーキ肉が乗っているらしい。
初めて行くお店ではクラシックを頼むことにしているので、今回もクラシックを頼んだ。
お皿の上にはポテトが山盛りに乗っていて、艶のあるグレービーソースとチーズカードが
適度に乗っていた。
ポテトの上にかかっていたスパイスが特に美味しかった。
透明な塩の他に小さな赤い点々が見え、スモーキーな味がした。
チーズカードは小〜中サイズで、歯応えはなく柔らかかった。
グレービーソースはかなりとろみが強く、ポテトに沢山からんだ。
グレービーは甘さと塩辛さがあったけれど、塩気はポテトにかかっていたスパイスだった
かもしれない。

今日最初のプーティンは、マイルエンドにあるFabergéというお店で食べた。
朝食・ブランチで有名のようで、閉店時間も平日は15時、週末も16時と早い。店員は気さくで、店内も居心地の良さそうな雰囲気だった。
1人だったのでカウンターに座り、メニューを開くと沢山のメニューが載っていた。
プーティンは3種類あり、クラシック、朝食、ステーキがあった。
