St-Hubert is a Canadian chain, famous for rotisserie chicken, founded in 1951.
The first restaurant opened on St-Hubert in Montreal and had chains in eastern Canada, but now they cover other areas like Ontario, too.

We've been to a restaurant but I'd never reviewed the poutine because I was sick, but finally I get to try their poutine on the way back from Quebec City.

There's actually a specific St-Hubert I wanted to go.
On the way to Quebec City, I saw a bunch of dinosaurs standing and looking down on cars on a highway with St-Hubert sign.
It's on the side we drove heading back to Montreal, so it's actually convenient. 

"Interdit de grimper sur les dinosaures"

It says do not climb up on the dinosaurs, but I saw kids were climbing up.

See? A kid was on a dinosaur.

I was the only one adult without kids taking photos.

There's a large egg in front of the restaurant, too.

They had poutine as a menu but we decided to get as an up-graded side.
Many chains has combo with fries and if you add extra cash (about 3 bucks usually), they make it into poutine. --- the amount of fries are the same, so you'll get a side menu sized poutine, not a full bowl.
We're gonna get another poutine in Montreal, so we needed to leave some space for that.

Fries were slightly thick, fresh, crispy and lightly browned (not burnt).
They poured enough gravy sauce but they all went down at the bottom of the flat plate, so it's a little bit hard to put some gravy first.

Gravy had sweet flavor and was creamy but not too rich or not too light.

Maybe it's because chicken gravy, not beef?

A lot of cheese curds were placed over fries and they're large, chewy and squeaky.

Crispy fries, flavorful gravy and fresh cheese curds were just awesome.
It's definitely one of the best classic poutines I've had.

セント ヒューバートは1951年に創業したロティサリーチキンが有名なカナダのチェーン。
第一号店はモントリオールのセント ヒューバート通りに開店し、カナダ東部で展開して
いたけれど、最近はオンタリオなど他の地域にも店舗がある。

レストランに行ったことはあったけれど、体調が悪くレビューを書いていなかったので、
ケベックシティからの帰り道に立ち寄ってプーティンを食べてきた。

ケベックシティに向かう途中セント ヒューバートの看板を見つけた。
そのお店の外には沢山の恐竜が置いてあり、高速を見下すように並んでいた。
ケベックシティからモントリオールに戻る時に通る方にあったので、帰りに立ち寄った。

「恐竜に上らないでください」と注意書きがあったけれど、子供たちは上っていた。
周りは子連れの親ばかりで、1人で写真を撮っていたのは私だけ。
レストランの入り口前には大きな卵があった。

プーティンだけでも売っていたけれど、サイドメニューをアップグレードして注文した。
多くのチェーン店では、セットメニューのポテトにいくらか追加するとポテトを
プーティンに変更することができる。（だいたい3ドル程度）
ポテトの量はサイドメニューと同じなので、大きなプーティンではなく、プーティン単品
よりも小さめ。
モントリオールで別のプーティンを食べる予定があったので、お腹に余裕を
持たせるためにもこの大きさで丁度よかった。

ポテトは少し太めで揚げたてでサクサクし、焦げ茶色ではなく薄く色づいていた。
グレービーソースがたっぷりかかっていたけれど、平らなお皿の底に溜まっていて
最初は少し食べにくかった。
また、濃厚すぎず、サラサラすぎないクリーミーさで、甘みがあった。
牛肉ではなく鶏肉のグレービーソースだからかもしれない。
沢山盛られたチーズカードは大きく歯応えがあり、キュッとしていた。

サクサクのポテト、旨味のあるグレービー、新鮮なチーズカードで美味しかった。
今まで食べた中で1番美味しいクラシックプーティンの1つ。
