Poutine From Burger Bar

I was heading to a different poutinerie today but the restaurant wasn't there even though I was exactly where the restaurant is located.
So I looked for another poutine shop nearby, and Burger Bar came up as the closest one.
Luckily it's opened so I decided to try their poutine.

I got there around 2:00 PM, and there's one customer at the bar counter chatting with two employees.
One of them took to me a table soon.
The restaurant seemed clean first but then I saw many crumbs and even chunks of french fries on the sofa and floor...
At least one of staffs could clean the space.

They've some poutines but like always, I stayed with regular one.

I ordered classic poutine and within 5 minutes it's served.

It's got a lot of cheese curds and too much gravy sauce over fries, thus most of the fries were soaked in the gravy sauce and all soggy.

Cheese curds were very soft and the texture was far from squeakiness, chewiness or firmness.

Fries were salted heavily.
Gravy sauce was lethally salty so that as soon as I had a first bite, it even hurt my mouth.

Even though I was hungry, it's too salty for me to finish the whole bowl and I left half or one third of the poutine.

The poutine wasn't enjoyable due to the saltiness but more, I got annoyed with the way-too-loud music and especially when the employees started using F-words with the customer as loud as the music.
I could clearly hear whatever they're talking about and hearing those nasty words in the restaurant even from the employees is something I don't appreciate at least in business hours.
It's very uncomfortable and unpleasant to eat.
Maybe they don't know the cliche, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" even though they're talking about Vegas. 

They take cash, VISA and MasterCard, but no debit card.


Classic Poutine: 8 + 2 kinds of tax = 9.20 + tip = 11 CND dollars.

あるプーティンのお店に行こうと思い、お店の地図通りの場所に着いてもお店がなかったため、
その近所にあるプーティンのお店「バーガー バー」に代わりに行ってきた。

14:00頃にお店に着くと、バーカウンターに1人お客さんがいて、店員2人と話していた。
すぐに1人の店員が席に案内してくれた。
レストランは綺麗に見えたけれど、床やソファ席には食べくずやポテトまで落ちていて不衛生。
ホールに2人いるなら、そのうち1人だけでも掃除をした方が良いのでは。

プーティンが数種類あったけれど、いつも通りオーソドックスなプーティンを選んだ。
クラシックプーティンを注文すると、5分ほどで出て来た。

大量のチーズカードと、多すぎる量のグレービーソースがポテトの上にかかっていたので、
ポテトだけの部分はほとんどなく、全体がグレービーに浸かっていてぐしょっとしていた。

チーズカードはとても柔らかく、キュッとした歯ごたえとは程遠いものだった。
ポテトにはかなりの量の塩が振ってあり、塩辛い。
グレービーソースも口に入れた瞬間からしょっぱい、、、というか辛くて痛い。
お腹が空いていたけれど、とても塩辛くて半分（3分の2）を食べるのが限界だった。

プーティンを楽しめなかった理由は、しょっぱ過ぎることだけではない。
店内の音楽がかなり大音量で、さらにそれに負けないほど大声でバーカウンターのお客さんと
話していた店員たちがFワード（F*ck ＝放送禁止用語）を使っていたので気分も居心地も
悪かった。
何を話しているのか聞こえてくるので、その単語が出るたびに嫌な気分になった。
少なくとも営業時間内はそのような言葉は使わない方がお店のためだと思う。

現金、ビザカード、マスターカードのみで、デビットカードの使用不可。
