My husband texted me about new Oreo Bites at Arby's and I went to the restaurant today.

The photo my husband sent me didn't have the cream inside and to be honest, they looked like a bunch of poop in a box.

It's served warm and I saw a staff was moving these balls into this box from a black plastic container, and I think they used microwave to heat it.

Still they looked like poop.

They're chocolate donuts with Oreo pieces, filled with Oreo cream and dusted with Oreo sugar blend.
There're 6 pieces.

They're bouncy and soft as if it's a bread.

Oreo cream was oozing out but not that much was inside unlike the image shown, which was filled with lots of Oreo white cream.

This piece didn't have that much cream like the image.

This little hole is used to inject Oreo cream.

With fluffy sweet dough and crunchy sugar, it's as sweet as real Oreo though there's a little Oreo cream.
If it had been filled with the same amount of cream in the image, it might have been too sugary.
The portion and the sweetness were good for light snack.

旦那からアービーズで新商品のオレオ バイツのことをメールで聞き、今日お店に行って

みた。

旦那から届いた写真は中のクリームが見えていなかったので、箱にコロコロのうんこが
入っているようにしか見えなかった。

温かい状態で出されると書かれていて、スタッフが黒いプラスチックの容器からこの箱に
移していたのを見たので、電子レンジで加熱しているのではないかと思う。

やっぱりうんこに見える。

これはオレオを混ぜたチョコレートドーナツに、オレオ クリームを入れ、オレオを混ぜた
砂糖をかけたもので、6個入り。

ふかふかの生地で、パンのようだった。

オレオ クリームはとろりと出て来たものの、イメージ画像ほどたっぷりとは入って
いなかった。

これもイメージ画像ほどクリームが入っていなかった。

この小さな穴からオレオ クリームが注入されている。

ふわふわの甘い生地、シャリシャリした砂糖で、少量のオレオ クリームでも本物のオレオ
同様に甘かった。
もし画像通りクリームが大量に入っていたら、甘すぎたかもしれない。
少しお腹が空いている時やおやつに良さそうな量と甘さだった。

Chocolate Cheesecake Donut

It's a double chocolate donut with cheesecake filling, topped with white icing and candy cane ribbons.

Cream cheese filling was lightly sour, smooth and had velvety texture.

Double chocolate donut was chocolate dough with chocolate icing or fudge on top.

The donut was a little bit dried but the filling and the topping helped it less obvious.

Chocolate and cream cheese filling were much stronger than the andy cane ribbons and I didn't really taste any candy.

ダブルチョコレート ドーナツにチーズケーキフィリングが入っていて、上には白い
アイシングとキャンディーケインのリボンが乗っている。

クリームチーズ フィリングは少し酸味があり滑らかで、濃厚な質感だった。
ダブルチョレート ドーナツはチョコレートの生地にチョコレートアイシング（もしくは
ファッジ）がかかっていた。
ドーナツは少しパサついていたけれど、フィリングと上部のチョコレートのお陰で乾燥が
あまり気にならなかった。
チョコレートとクリームチーズの味が強く、キャンディーケインの味はほぼなかった。

An actor Danny Trejo opened Trejo's Coffee & Donuts on May 17, 2017 in Hollywood, California.
First he opened Trejo's Tacos in March, 2016, then now it's the donuts shop, that was just a month before opening Trejo's Cantina.

It's on a corner of Santa Monica Boulevard, and it's a small but fully pink shop so that it's easy to spot on.

There're other shops in the lot so that there're some shared parking space.

They have so many kinds of donuts and those marked with white in the box in front of the names are available.

It's mainly a to-go place but there're skinny counter tables by the windows.

We got 2; Machete and Old Fashioned.

Both weren't big, especially the Old Fashioned was quite small.

Old Fashioned
Buttermilk cake, vanilla, nutmeg, basic glaze.

Glaze was poured generously.

The diameter was about 7cm (2.75 inch).

It's flat and maybe 3cm (1.18 inch) or so.

Thick layer of glaze was lightly crunchy, and the outside of the donut was crispy while the inside was soft and moist.
The glaze was so sweet that I couldn't really tell the sourness of buttermilk in this cake donut, but I noticed sweet vanilla scent.
However, I don't like nutmeg or cinnamon that much, and I tasted more nutmeg than vanilla.

Machete
Filled donut, jam, blubbery, raspberry, dark chocolate, royal icing.

I've never seen but my husband said it's from his first lead in a movie called "Machete."
It's a shape of knife with blood splash.

It's an yeast donut and tall.

It had silver coloring for the blade of the knife.

Royal icing is made with egg white, powdered sugar and lemon juice, according to my search.

The fluffy yeast donut had sour berry jam inside.
The filling was much sourer than I thought and it made the dark chocolate even taste sweet.
Thanks to that balance, I enjoyed this donut a lot.

2017年5月17日、俳優のダニー・トレホがトレホス コーヒー＆ドーナツをハリウッドに
オープンさせた。
2016年3月に開店したトレホス タコスに続き、2店目で、さらにこの1ヶ月後には
キャンティーナもオープン。

サンタモニカ通りの角にあり、小さいものの全体がピンクの建物なので簡単に見つける
ことができた。

他にもお店がある場所に建っているので、他店舗と共有の駐車場もあった。

とても多くの種類のドーナツがあり、名前の前にある四角い部分が白く塗られている
ものが販売されている。

テイクアウトのお店だけれど、窓際に細いカウンターテーブルもあった。

色々ある中から、マチェーテとオールドファッションを買った。

両方とも大きくはなく、特にオールドファッションが小さかった。

オールドファッション
バターミルクケーキ、バニラ、ナツメグ、ベーシックグレーズ

グレーズがたっぷりかかっていた。

直径7センチ程度。

平たいドーナツで、3センチ程度の高さ。

厚めのグレーズはシャリッとし、外側は軽くサクサクし、内側は柔らかくしっとりした
ケーキドーナツだった。
グレーズがとても甘かったのでバターミルクの酸味は分からなかったものの、バニラの
甘い香りがふわっと広がった。
ただ、私はナツメグやシナモンがあまり好きではないので、このドーナツのナツメグの
香りがバニラよりも気になってしまった。

マチェーテ
フィルド ドーナツ、ジャム、ブルーベリー、ラズベリー、ダークチョコレート、ロイヤル
アイシング

私は見たことがないけれど、旦那によると初めて主役を演じた「マチェーテ」にちなんだ
ものらいい。
血の付いた包丁の形をしていた。

イーストドーナツで厚みがあった。

包丁の刃の部分が銀色になっていた。
調べたところ、ロイヤルアイシングは卵白、粉砂糖、レモン果汁で作られたものらしい。

ふわふわのイーストドーナツに酸味のあるベリージャムが入っていた。
ダークチョコレートが甘く感じるほど甘酸っぱいフィリングで、飽きずに食べられた。
