 Mister Donut launched Financier Donut on April 25, 2016 and 5 flavors will be available till end of October.

It's lightly crispy and flaky as the dough is made with almond powder and has butter flavor.
There're plain, sugar, chocolate, cinnamon and white (that has coated with sugar), and I got a plain.

 It's a golden brown, round shaped donut.

 The outside was light and crispy, and the inside was a bit moister than Old Fashion and crumbly.
I love Old Fashion so that this donut was a bit too soft but it's lightly sweetened and quite tasty.

2016年4月25日、ミスタードーナツからフィナンシェドーナツが発売され、10月下旬まで
5種類のフレーバーで販売予定となっている。

アーモンドプードルを練り込んだバター風味の生地で、さっくり、ほろほろした食感
らしい。
プレーン、シュガー、チョコ、シナモン、ホワイト（シュガーコーティング）があった
ので、プレーンを買った。

 キツネ色に揚がった、丸い形のドーナツ。

 外側は軽くサクッとし、内側はオールドファッションよりもしっとりしてホロホロっと
崩れる食感だった。
オールドファッションが好きなので、私には少し柔らかく感じたけれど、甘すぎず美味し
かった。

 I'm surprised to be able to review Cotton Snow Candy produced by Mister Donut.
It's originally launched on June 25, 2014 with 5 flavors for a limited time, announced till the end of August, but the sales was beyond the expectation and in a month, they had sold over 1,200k sets in sum total.

 However, they announced that they'd extend the period of the sales and change the cups.
The flavors are mango, strawberry, mix (mango and strawberry), chocolate sauce & chocolate crunch, and Matcha & Azuki (green tea & sweet red bean).
I chose a mix to try 2 flavors at once.

 In a couple of minutes, I received my Cotton Snow Candy.
The cup looked like a ramen bowl instead of original cup, that was like the Olympics torch, but as there's an announcement that the design of the cup would be different, I wasn't that upset.

 From the top, there're 2 vivid color sauce over pure white finely sliced ice.

 Strawberry sauce with flesh.

 Mango sauce with flesh.

 This pile of ice is milk flavored ice cream and it's not shaved but sliced to create not crunchy but fluffy and airy texture.

 When I picked a spoonful ice, it sure was light and it's as thin as paper.
Both sauce had sweet and sour fruits flavors, and the ice had nice milk scent.
The ice disappeared once I put it in my mouth.
It's like "eating" milk shake with some fruits flesh.

 I'm really glad that I could try this before it's completely gone.
They say it'll be sold till the end of September, but only as long as supplies last.

ミスタードーナツのコットンスノーキャンディをなんとか買うことができたので、その
レビュー。
この商品は2014年6月25日に5種類の味で発売され、8月末までの期間限定商品となって
いたけれど、予想以上の売り上げで1ヶ月で120万食を突破し、品切れが出てしまった。
ただ、2014年9月3日に販売期間延長とカップの形状が変わるとの発表された。

 フレーバーはマンゴー、ストロベリー、ミックス（マンゴーとストロベリー）、チョコ
レートソース&チョコクランチ、抹茶あずきの5種類で、2つの味が楽しめるミックスを
買うことにした。

 注文から数分でコットンスノーキャンディが出された。
カップは発売当初の物（聖火マラソンのトーチのような形）とは違い、ラーメンの器の
ようだった。
ただ、予めカップの形が変わるとの情報を見ていたので、それほど驚きはなかった。

 上から見ると、明るい2色のソース、薄く削られた真っ白なアイスが見えた。
ストロベリー、マンゴー共に果肉が入っていて。
この真っ白なアイスは、ふわふわで軽い食感を生み出すためにミルク味のアイスを薄く
スライスしたもの。
確かに持ち上げてみると軽く、鰹節のように薄かった。

 ソースは2種類とも甘酸っぱく、アイスはミルク味がしっかりしていた。
アイスは口に入れるとふわっと溶けてしまった。
果物の果肉入りミルクシェイクを「食べている」ような食感だった。

 Mister Donut added new and summer limited flavor to Mr. Croissant Donut on June 11, 2014.
Their first Mr. Croissant Donut was launched on April 1, 2014.
And the sales of the original Mr. Croissant Donut in April was over 10 million pieces, which was the biggest sales for Mister Donut.

 The new limited flavors are 3 kinds; Berry & Choco Whip, Orange & Lemon Whip and Mix Fruits & Yogurt Whip.
* Choco = an abbreviation of chocolate in Japanese.
* Whip = an abbreviation of whipped cream in Japanese.

 These new fruits flavors are available till end of August but it's technically "as long as supplies last" I think.

 I've tried the following fake Cronuts so far (and I've not tried the real one yet).

 In the showcase, there're all 3 kinds when I went to one of Mister Donut shops, and when I asked for each one of the new Mr. Croissant Donut to go.
Then the employee who was taking care of me asked if I wanted to get a set box, so I decided to get a box.
I actually got them cheaper than buying single Mr. Croissant Donuts actually.
The box set was 630 yen and each piece was 216 yen, so if I bought respectively, it'd have been 648 yen (tax incl.). 
As I got a false Mr. Croissant Donut (no filling) last time, I checked the each of them to make sure they all had whipped cream inside when I got out of the shop.
From the right, Orange & Lemon Whip, Berry & Choco Whip and Mix Fruits & Yogurt Whip.

 Orange & Lemon Whip
It had refreshing scent which was coming from the orange peel on the top.
Pie was crispy so I think it's made fresh this morning.
Sweet and sour lemon flavored cream was light and not too heavy.

 Berry & Choco Whip
It's a cute pink Croissant Donut.
The berries looked like cranberries.
This one was also crispy and didn't have greasy odor even though it's fried.
Chocolate whipped cream had some bitter and rich flavor, and the glaze was sweet and sour.
They went well together as it tasted like raspberry chocolate cake.

 Mix Fruits & Yogurt Whip
Dried fruits were grapes (green and purple), mango, cranberries and pines.
The glaze had subtle mango flavor and powder sugar was covering half of the donut.
The filling was supposed to be yogurt flavor, but the dried fruits on the top were shockingly sweet and it's impossible to taste the filling inside, besides there's not much filling anyway.

 All of them tasted fresh and were crispy, but the filling was so little thus the balance of the filling and sugary glaze was a little bit off.
I wish they had much more filling like the poster showed.

2014年6月11日、ミスタードーナツのミスタークロワッサンドーナツに新しい期間限定フレーバーが
加わった。
最初のミスタークロワッサンドーナツは2014年4月1日に発売され、1ヶ月で1,000万個以上を
売り上げた。（ミスド史上最高）

 新限定フレーバーはベリー&チョコホイップ、オレンジ&レモンホイップ、ミックスベリー&ヨーグルト
ホイップの3種類。

 これらのフルーツ味は8月下旬までとのことだけれど、「在庫がある限り」に近いものだと思う。

 これまでに食べたクロナッツらしきものは以下。（まだ本物は食べていない）

 ミスタードーナツに行くと、ショーケースには各ミスタークロワッサンドーナツが並んでいて、
限定フレーバーを1個ずつお願いした。
すると店員が「ボックスセットにしますか？」と言ったので、箱詰めされたものをお願いした。
ボックスセットは630円で、ミスタークロワッサンドーナツは1個216円。
もし1個ずつ買っていたら合計648円になるので、18円お得に買えた。

 以前買ったミスタークロワッサンドーナツにフィリングが入っていなかった物があったので、
お店を出てから全てのドーナツを見て、フィリングが入っていることを確認した。

 オレンジ&レモンホイップ
上に乗ったオレンジピールから爽やかな香りがしていた。
パイはサクサクしていたので、おそらく今朝作ったばかり。
甘酸っぱいレモン風味のクリームは軽く、サラッしていた。

 ベリー&チョコホイップ
かわいいピンクのクロワッサンドーナツで、上に乗っているベリーはクランベリーに見えた。
これもサクサクしていたので、揚げてはあるものの油の臭いは気にならなかった。
チョコレートホイップは少し苦さがある濃厚な味で、グレーズは甘酸っぱかった。
ラズベリーチョコレートケーキを食べているような味。

 ミックスベリー&ヨーグルトホイップ
ドライフルーツは、グレープ（緑、紫）、マンゴー、クランベリー、パイナップルだった。
グレーズにはわずかなマンゴー風味があり、パウダーシュガーがドーナツの半分にかかっていた。
フィリングはヨーグルト味のはずだけれど、ドライフルーツがかなり甘かく、フィリングが少なかった
こともあり、フィリングの味が全く分からなかった。

 どれもサクサクしていて美味しかったけれど、フィリングが少なかったので、甘いグレーズとの
バランスが悪い気がした。
ポスターと同じくらい、もっとたっぷりフィリングが入っていたら良かった。

 Mister Donut launched a new type of donut called "Kranz Ring" on November 20, 2013, but till today, I hadn't tried.
Mister Donut had cake type donut since the beginning, but they made vanilla flavored cake type dough into a wreath of flowers, which is called "Kranz" in German.
This way, it's easier to tear and the texture is softer than regular cake type donut.

Since  May 14, 2014, they've sold 6 different donuts with Matcha flavor fr a limited time, so I tried "Kranz Ring Matcha" to try both the texture and the flavor.
(I bought this as a part of set when I got a Dandan Beef BBQ Rice Burger.)

Kranz Ring Matcha
Outside was crispy but light, and Matcha was sweet (not bitter like real Matcha).
However, inside was soft and moist.
I thought it'd be as dry as Old Fashion but Kranz Ring had much softer and less dried texture.
Usually I get thirsty after eating an Old Fashion but Kranz Ring didn't make me wanna drink something immediately.

Crispy and soft Kranz Ring became my favorite, but I still love Old Fashion the most.

2013年11月20日からミスタードーナツが販売している「クランツリング」を、今日初めて食べた。
ミスタードーナツで昔から販売していたケーキタイプのバニラ風味の生地を、花輪型（ドイツ語で
「クランツ」）にしたことで、ちぎりやすく、通常のケーキタイプドーナツよりも柔らかい食感になって
いるらしい。

 2014年5月14日から抹茶を使った6種類のドーナツが期間限定発売されているので、抹茶味の
クランツリングを買ってみた。
（ミスタードーナツとモスバーガーのコラボ商品、担々牛焼肉ライスバーガーとセットで購入。）

クランツリング抹茶
外側はサクッとして軽く、本物の抹茶とは異なり抹茶チョコレートは甘かった。
オールドファッションのように乾いているかと思った中身は、柔らかくしっとりしていた。
オールドファッションを食べると喉が渇くけれど、クランツリングは水気があり、すぐに飲み物が
欲しくなるような食感とは違った。

ふんわり、さっくりしたクランツリングも美味しかったけれど、1番好きなのはオールドファッション。

モスバーガーの「モスのフレンチクルーラー ぐるぐるチョリソ」

 Mos Burger, a Japanese burger chain operated by Mos Food Service, Inc. and Mister Donut, a donut chain operated by Duskin, collaborated by exchanging the famous product from each side and produced 4 new limited items on May 28, 2014.
They're totally unrelated company, however, they've formed capital and business alliance since February, 2008.
And they've collaborated before in 2008 and 2009, so this is their third time to create new items using each other's items.

I tried "Mos' French Cruller Guruguru Chorizo" available at Mos Burger.
*Guruguru is an adjective meaning "swirled." 
French Cruller is one of the popular items in sold at Mister Donut, which has sugar graze usually, but for this burger, they didn't put any sugar over it as it's used as buns for the chorizo burger.

I asked if it contained mayo, then an employee said it'd have a little bit, so I asked no mayo on this.

In about 5 minutes, "Mos' French Cruller Guruguru Chorizo" was brought to my table.
Between unsweetened French Cruller, there're lettuce, a slice of tomato, swirled chorizo and chili sauce.
French Cruller was very light as you can see a lot of air bubbles and spaces inside.
This chorizo is rolled by hand they said. 
There's no trace that they used a skewer so I wonder how they did it.
The sauce had some fresh diced onions like it does for chili dog, one of the regular menu at Mos Burger.
On the menu, it had "spicy" mark, but it didn't have much heat and the sauce was same one used for the chili dog I assume.

French Cruller was as light and soft as the ones sold at Mister Donut, and to hold the heavy chorizo and fresh and moist vegetables was tough.
And the sauce was absorbed into the French Cruller, and the donut became softer and softer.
I read some reviews and one of them said that the French Cruller became like scrambled eggs, and I agree with it as the donut was soft, mushy, and fluffy with egg flavor.

株式会社モスフードサービスが展開するモスバーガーと、ダスキンが展開するミスタードーナツが
コラボし、それぞれの人気商品を交換し4種類の新限定メニューを2014年5月28日から発売した。
各企業は関連性がないものの、2008年2月から業務資本提携を結んでいる。
今回のコラボ企画は2008年、2009年に続く3回目となる。

まず最初に、モスバーガーで販売されている「モスのフレンチクルーラー ぐるぐるチョリソ」を
食べてみた。
フレンチクルーラーはミスタードーナツの人気商品で、通常はグレーズがかかっている。
ただ、今回モスバーガーで使われているものは、グレーズのかかっていないドーナツでバンズの
代わりになっている。

注文する時にマヨネーズが入っているか聞いたところ、少し塗ってあるとのことだったので、
マヨネーズ抜きでお願いした。
5分ほどして、「モスのフレンチクルーラー ぐるぐるチョリソ」が運ばれてきた。
甘くないフレンチクルーラーの間には、レタス、トマト、ぐるぐるチョリソ、チリソースが挟まれていた。
フレンチクルーラーに空包が沢山あり、見た目同様に軽かった。
チョリソは手作業でぐるぐるにされているらしいけれど、串を刺したような跡がなかったので、
どのように丸めて固定してあるのか不思議だった。

モスバーガーの通常メニューにあるチリドッグと同じように、ソースには生タマネギのみじん切りが
入っていた。
また、メニューには「辛」というマークが付いていたけれど、チリドッグと同じであろうソースは
それほど辛さはなかった。

フレンチクルーラーは、ミスタードーナツで販売されている物と変わらないほど軽く柔らかくて、
重たいチョリソと新鮮で水分の多い野菜を挟むのには向いていなかった。
また、フレンチクルーラーがソースを吸い込み、ドーナツはさらに柔らかくなってしまった。
いくつか読んだレビューの中に、「フレンチクルーラーはスクランブルエッグのようだった」と書いて
あるものがあったけれど、まさにその通りの柔らかさ、グニャグニャ感、たまごの香りだった。

ミスタードナツが「生チョコリングパイ」を全国発売へ

 Mister Donut is a donut chain owned by Duskin and they've been creative and entertaining me since I was a kid.

 In December 2012, they had test-market in Hokkaido area and in a month, they sold over 330,000pcs of this Ganache Ring Pie.
This summer, they launched initial sales of this new pie, which is donut-shpaed, in Okinawa and Kyushu area on August 7, 2013.
And this fall, they relaunched the product in all part of country on October 23, 2013.

 Mister Donut has several pies but it's usually square or rectangle, however, this new pie called "Ganache Ring Pie" is in donut shape and this is the very first attempt.
When I saw the product, it reminded me of Cronuts.

 I and my husband went to get this Ganache Ring Pie.
There're 2 types; chocolate and strawberry chocolate.

 They're not tall like Cronuts and similar to regular donuts.

 The pie crust is both chocolate and the chocolate sauce on the top is different.

 This is how it looks inside of the Ring Pie.
It's hard to distinguish the pie from the filling, but in the tube (pie crust), it's filled with sweet-bitter chocolate ganache.

 This is the strawberry one.
I thought the filling would be also strawberry chocolate ganache, but the filling is exactly the same with the chocolate one (above).

 To summarize, this "Nama-Choco Ring Pie" was OK, but I won't buy again.
I was hoping they would be similar to Cronuts but this was just ring-shaped pie filled with smooth and melty ganache.
The very outside of the pie was crispy but mostly it was a little bit stale maybe due to the ganache filling.

 And it's not risen tall like croissant, so it was far from the popular Cronut and it's somehow hard pie.
Usually I don't get disappointed at Mister Donut but I really prefer regular pies and donuts that they make.

Spring theme donuts of Mister Donut

Pon de Sakurambo and Sakura Fashion /

 Mister Donut launched several new flavored donuts featuring spring color and flavor.
They used Sakura (cherry blossom) and Sakurambo (cherry) as the main ingredients.

 In Japan, when people think of spring, many events are held with cherry blossom.
Graduation and entrance ceremony are carried out in March and Spring and we usually see flowers are fully in bloom or blown away petals.

 I tried Pon de Sakurambo and Sakura Fashion, which Mister Donut started selling on February 20, 2013.

 Pon de series have been sold more than 10 years now and they had sold anniversary edition last month; Pon de Ring Nama and Pon de Lion Donut.

 Pon de Sakurambo
Pon de Sakurambo is stored in a green paper bag which has sakura petal pattern in vivid pink and white.
It uses sakura leaf flavored powder in the dough and as same as other Pon de Rings, it has the popular and unique texture.
Pink part on the left top is strawberry flavored chocolate.
Dough itself has pink shade as you can see.
The filling is cherry flesh jelly and it was slightly yellow.
I had no idea what was sakura flavored powder they used in the dough, but the filling (cherry jelly) was sweet and sour and tasted good.

 Sakufa Fashion
This donut has same texture as Old Fashion does, which is called cookie-type donut and it's crispy outside and a little bit moist inside.
They used sakura leaf flavored powder in the dough for this one also and the inside of the donut was bright pink.
Again, I have no idea what they meant "sakura flavor" so that I couldn't tell if it had different flavor or not, but maybe slightly bitter and salty taste?

 This sakura themed donuts are available for limited time but I'm not sure if I'd go get some other types since I didn't see much special feature in these two I tried besides pink colored dough.
