Lawson, a conbini chain launched 2 kinds of "Croissant Donut" on May 13, 2014.
I still haven't had real Cronut, but I've tried the following fake Cronuts so far.

Mister Donut
Circle K Sunkus (Strawberry)
Circle K Sunkus (Chocolate)
La Cornetteria

Dowhats (Choco & Crunch)
Dowhats (Caramel & Almond)

From the day they launched them, I kept looking for them at every Lawson I saw and stopped at, but all the stocks were gone.

And then, my mom again found both chocolate and strawberry this morning, after 2 days of the launching date.

I tried strawberry one first.

When I grabbed the content to take it out, I already knew it wouldn't be crispy even though on the website it says "crunchy and crispy."

It's got strawberry flavored chocolate, white chocolate and freeze dried strawberries on the top.

From the side, it didn't look like the photo on the package which was risen high and seemed crunchy, but this one was flat like it's pressed.

Inside, there's strawberry sauce made with Amaou strawberry jam mixed and lemon juice.

* Amaou is a kind of strawberry grown only in Hakata.

Thanks to lemon juice, it had some sour taste in the too sweet jam.

I don't think the sweetness is from Amaou strawberries but mainly from sugar.

The croissant was soft, moist, and chewy as I thought, and it's far from being called crispy.

The filling was seriously sweet and I don't think I'd but this again besides it's not crunchy like real croissant even though I know it can't be helped as it's sold in a bag.

2014年5月13日、コンビニチェーンのローソンから「クロワッサンドーナツ」が2種類発売された。
まだ本物のクロナッツを食べていなけれど、これまでに食べたクロナッツもどきは以下。

ミスタークロワッサンドーナツ

このクロワッサンドーナツの発売日から目に入った全てのローソンで探したけれど売切れだった。

発売日から2日経った今朝、母が毎度のごとく2種類とも見つけてきてくれた。

まず、ストロベリーを食べてみた。

ウェブには「歯切れのよいさっくりした生地」とあったけれど、袋から取り出すために掴んだ時に

サクサク感がないと分かった。

上部にはストロベリーチョコ、ホワイトチョコ、フリーズドライのいちごが乗っている。

横からの見た目はパッケージのイメージ画像のように背が高くなく、上から押しつぶされたように

ぺしゃんこだった。

中にはあまおうを使ったジャムとレモン果汁のソースが入っていた。

レモン果汁が入っていたので、かなり甘いジャムにいくらか酸味を足していた。

ジャムの甘さは博多が産地のあまおうからではなく、砂糖の甘さだと思う。

想像通りクロワッサンは柔らかく、もっちり、しっとりとしていて、サクサクと呼ぶには程遠い。

ソースはとてつもなく甘く、クロワッサン生地もサクサクではないのでもう買わないと思う。

（袋に入って売られているので柔らかくなっているのは仕方がないか。。。）
