Today, March 4, 2025, I went to Target to buy some groceries and found this Harry Potter Butterbeer Butterscotch Flavored Graham Crackers.

They're not advertised loudly but rather discreet, displayed under other Pepperidge Farm cookies.

I wasn't planning to buy this crackers first but as soon as I saw the word "limited edition," I grabbed on bag to the cashier.

Back of the package says, "Reveal your spellbinding treat."

Side of the package has a lightning patter on Harry Potter's forehead, Goldfish, Butterbeer poured in a glass, and "B" for Butterbeer.

The other side of the package has a nutrition facts.

About 31 pieces of graham crackers contain 140 kcal.

Upon opening, instantly sweet caramel scent appeared.

The biscuits were covered in fine yet crunchy sugars.

Butterbeer in a glass. --- It's not as clear at the image on the package.

It's sweet and tasted like butterscotch with aftertaste of fragrant graham crackers and cinnamon sugar.

Not sure if I'd say it's Butterbeer flavor but it's tasty for the fist 2-3 handful of crackers but for a non-cinnamon fan, the distinct flavor builds up in my mouth unpleasant way.

If you like Butterbeer + cinnamon while the actual Butterbeer doesn't have cinnamon in (or I don't taste it because of sweet marshmallow and butterscotch flavor), it's for you with probably half the price of the Butterbeer in the park.

大々的に宣伝されているわけでなく、他のペパリッジファームのクッキーの下の段に控えめに

陳列されていた。

最初は買うつもりはなかったものの、「限定」という言葉を見て1袋レジに持って行った。

袋の側面にはハリー・ポッターの額にある稲妻のマーク、ゴールドフィッシュ、グラスに注が

れたバタービール、バタービールの「B」の文字が載っていた。

反対側の側面には成分表示が載っていて、約31個のグラハムクラッカーが140キロカロリーと

書かれていた。

クラッカーの形は3種類あり、ゴールドフィッシュ、グラスに注がれたバタービール、Bと

書かれた樽。

グラスの模様は袋の写真よりも見えにくかった。

袋を開けた瞬間に、甘いキャラメルの香りが広がった。

ビスケットは細かいザラザラした砂糖がたくさん付いていた。

ビスケットは甘く、バタースコッチの味がし、後味は香ばしいグラハムクラッカーとシナモン

シュガーだった。

バタービール味かと言えるかは微妙な味だったものの、美味しかったと思う。

ただ、シナモンがあまり好きではない私にとっては、20個ほど食べた後に口の中にシナモンが

どんどん溜まっていく感じがし、もう食べたくなくなった。

もしバタービールとシナモンが好きなら、パーク内で買うバタービールの半額程度で楽しめる

味のお菓子だと思う。

（本物のバタービールはシナモンの味がしなかった気がする。単に甘いマシュマロとバター

スコッチ味でシナモンの味がしなかっただけなのかもしれない）

We went to Opry City Stage back in February after seeing photos of good looking biscuits on the flags of Restaurant Week.
Opry City Stage is a multiple-story restaurant with live country music, located in Time Square.

First, we checked in at the first floor and took an elevator since we had a stroller but there's stairs, too.
And on the second floor, there's another reception.
As we made a reservation, we're led to the table fast and also we mentioned our stroller beforehand, things went smoothly.
(We're allowed to bring the detached seating section, but the base with wheels had to stay behind the reception desk.)

When there's no live performance, they're playing country music with videos.
My son, about 7 months, really enjoyed the live performance a lot.

Biscuit Basket
It's served with cinnamon butter and honey.

They smelled so good and heavenly.

The top and bottom were flaky and fragrant, and the inside was so moist and fluffy.

The biscuit was even better with sweet cinnamon butter & honey.
We ordered 3 dishes including this Biscuit Basket, and this is the best among them and I'd love to get this next time, too.

Edgehill Poutine
Tater tots, smoked sausage & pimento cheese.

I knew it wouldn't a real poutine from the description but we ordered one.
There're tater tots, small red potatoes, sliced jalapeños and sausage, topped with onions.

Between tater tots and potatoes, there's melty pimento cheese, but there's no cheese curds of course.

The BBQ sauce at the bottom was very rich and salty, and all those ingredients having absorbed the sauce tasted only BBQ sauce and made me very thirsty.
I wish the sauce had been less and this dish had more real poutine aspect like the name.

It's my 190th poutine.

Hot Chicken & Waffles
Brown sugar & cayenne.

The waffles were slightly burnt but batter of the fried chicken was very crunchy and crispy.
The brown sugar & cayenne was quite spicy and when I accidentally poured most of it, I regretted a lot.
The fried chicken had one of the best batter but it's mostly thigh and neither of us likes dark meat... I wished the menu had indicted it's thigh or had an option for breast meat.

The atmosphere and the live music were good, but the service was sow and the food was just ok.

レストランウィークの旗に美味しそうなビスケットの写真が載っていて、その味が気に
なり2月にオプリー シティーステージに行った。
オプリー シティーステージはタイムズスクエアにあり、数フロアある大きなレストラン
で、カントリーミュージックのライブ演奏がある。

まず1階の受付に行き、ベビーカーで行ったのでエレベーターで上がった。（階段あり）
そして、2階の受付で再度名前を伝えた。
予約をして行くと早く席に案内してもらえ、予めベビーカーで行くと伝えていたので
スムーズだった。
（ベビーカーの座席部分は席に持ち込めたけれど、車輪の部分は受付に置くよう指示が
あった）

ライブ演奏がない間はカントリーミュージックとビデオが流れていた。
当時7ヶ月ほどの息子は、生演奏をとても楽しんでいた。

シナモンバター＆ハニーが添えられていた。

ビスケットの上下は香ばしくサクッとしていた。

内側はしっとり、ふんわりし、バターミルクの軽い酸味があった。

甘いシナモンバター＆ハニーを付けて食べても美味しかった。
3つの料理を頼んだけれど、このビスケットが1番美味しく、次も絶対に食べたいもの
だった。

エッジヒル プーティン
テイタートッツ、スモークソーセージ、ピメントチーズ。

説明を読んでプーティンではないと分かっていたけれど、とりあえず注文した。
テイタートッツ、小さな赤いジャガイモ、スライスしたハラペーニョとソーセジ、ネギが
入っていた。

テイタートッツとジャガイモの間に溶けたピメントチーズがあったけれど、もちろん
チーズカードは入っていなかった。

底にあったBBQソースの味がととても濃く、塩辛くて、このソースを吸った具材を食べる

と、どれもBBQソースの味しかせず、喉がとても乾いた。

もっとソースの量が少なく、プーティンという名の通りもっとプーティンらしさがあれば

良かった。

今回のプーティンは190個目。

ホットチキン＆ワッフルブラウンシュガー＆カイエン

ワッフルは少し焦げていたけれど、フライドチキンの衣はサクサク、カリカリだった。
ブラウンシュガー＆カイエンはかなり辛く、間違ってほぼ全てかけてしまい、かなり後悔
した。
フライドチキンの衣は今まで食べた中で1番とも言える食感だったけれど、ほぼモモ肉。
旦那も私もモモ肉が苦手なので、あまり食べなかった。
メニューにモモ肉であることが記載されているか、胸肉にできるオプションがあれば
良かった。

雰囲気、ライブ演奏は良かったけれど、サービスが遅く、料理は可もなく不可もなく
だった。

I've been seeing a lot of Gregorys Coffee for about a year or so, but I hadn't been any of the locations till yesterday.
Gregorys Coffee is a New York based coffee roaster and retailer, and the logo was easy to remember; glasses with dark hair, which is made to look like the founder and apparently, the glasses are 2 mugs.

Like other chains, Gregorys Coffee offers Wi-Fi and many were either working on the laptops or having little meetings/catchups.

It's a narrow space.

The baked goods looked good and I'm looking forward to trying some next time.

I tried Chai with soy milk, and it's for stay, it's served in a mug.
It's poured to the very top and even had surface tension effect. (This photo was taken after I spilled some.)

I thought it would have the same logo used on paper cups, but instead, there's a founder pressing coffee.

Steamed soy milk was airy, smooth, and light.
The spice and sweetness were both moderate and it's a tasty chai.
I don't like cinnamon that much but when it comes to chai, I'm ok with it.
Next time I visit, I'm thinking to try Dirty Chai, that has espresso, or some coffee, at the risk of getting stomachache.

Gregorys Coffee / グレゴリーズコーヒー
630 9th Avenue, New York, NY 10036

(Between 44th & 45th Street)

1年ほどグレゴリーズ コーヒーというお店を沢山見かけたけれど、昨日までどの店舗にも入ったことがなかった。
グレゴリーズ コーヒーはニューヨークを拠点とするコーヒーの焙煎・小売店で、ロゴは
黒髪にメガネで覚えやすい。
これは創業者に似せてあるようで、さらにメガネの部分はコーヒーカップが2個になって
いるらしい。

他のチェーンと同じくグレゴリーズ コーヒーもワイファイがあるので、パソコンで仕事を
している人やミーティングをしている人が多かった。

細長い店舗だった。

食べ物も美味しそうだったので、次回何か食べてみたい。

チャイを豆乳で頼み、店内で飲むと伝えたのでマグカップで出された。
カップの上までしっかり注がれていて、表面張力が働いていたほどだった。（これは少し
こぼしてしまった後の写真）

紙コップと同じようにグレゴリーズ コーヒーのロゴが載っているかと思ったけれど、
プレスしている創業者の姿がデザインされていた。

スチームされた豆乳はふんわりして滑らかで、軽い口当たりだった。
スパイスの香りや甘さもくど過ぎず、飲みやすかった。
私はシナモンがあまり好きではないけれど、チャイになると飲める。
次回はお腹が痛くなるのを覚悟でダーティー チャイというエスプレッソ入りのものか、
コーヒーを飲んでみようと思う。
