For my last Tim Hortons till next visit to Canada, I got several items.
Pecan Maple Danish was always on my list and I finally tried it today.

It had nutty scent and there're some pecan nuts.

The pie was light and crispy, and the filling was maple flavored jam or something sticky.
Though it had nutty scent, the maple flavored filling was so strong that I didn't really taste pecan besides there're only a few pieces on the pie.

しばらくカナダに来ないので、最後の食べ納めでティム・ホートンズの商品を色々
買った。
ピーカンメープルデニッシュはいつも気になっていたもので、今日初めて食べた。

ナッツの香りがし、小さなピーカンナッツのかけらが乗っていた。

パイは軽くサクサクした食感で、メープル味のジャムのようなペタペタしたものが
入っていた。
ナッツの香りがしたものの、メープルフィリングの味が強かったのでピーカンの味は
せず、パイにもほんの少ししかナッツが乗っていなかった。

On September 22, 2017, Starbucks launched Maple Pecan Latte as a part of fall beverage, and I tried it on the launching date.

They can make it hot, iced or blended, and I got it hot. --- I only said the name of the drink when ordered, so I bet unless you say "iced" or "blended," it'll be served hot.

I also got a Fox Cookie.

Tall was reddish purple while Grande was teal and Venti was orange.

"We build on our rich espresso and steamed milk with notes of maple syrup, pecan and brown butter, then finish it with a beautiful sugar topping for a can't-miss autumn latte."

However, when I removed the lid, I didn't see any colorful sugars shown in the image or written in the product page. I wonder where I can get properly made beverages at Starbucks in New York City.

Both Maple and Pecan syrup was at the bottom so that it mainly tasted bitter and ordinary Latte till the very last sadly.

The final 2-3 sips were so sugary and syrupy, and to me, it's a "must-miss" beverage as Pumpkin Spice because these years I don't like cinnamon or nutmeg.

ホット、アイス、ブレンドで注文することができ、私はホットにした。
商品名だけを伝えるとホットが出されたので、アイスやブレンドと付け加えない場合は
ホットなのだと思う。

一緒にキツネのクッキーも注文した。

トールサイズは赤紫色のカップに真っ白な円がデザインされていた。
グランデはティール、ベンティはオレンジ色だった。

「濃厚なエスプレッソとスチームミルクにメープルシロップ、ピーカン、ブラウン

バターを混ぜ、仕上げに美しいシュガートピング。見逃せない秋味のラテ。」

ところが、蓋を取ってみるとイメージ画像や説明に書かれていたカラフルなシュガーは
見えなかった。
ニューヨーク市内のスターバックスで、まともな商品を受け取れる店舗はどこなのかと
毎度思ってしまう。

残念ながら、メープル、ピーカンのシロップは両方とも底にあり、最後までほとんど苦い
普通のラテだった。
最後の2〜3口はとても甘く、シロップのどろっとした味で、パンプキンスパイス同様に
「飲みたくない」ものの1つという印象だった。（私は近年シナモンとナツメグが苦手）

I was searching shaved ice cream shops and found Grace Street with good reviews.
It's in Koreatown and they have a bunch of sweets with coffee and teas.
We arrived at the space a little bit before 4:30 PM on Saturday and 90% of the seats was taken but there're some people who leave the space after they finish eating, thus, it wasn't hard to find a table; my husband ordered and I got a table = teamwork.

After 6 PM, they starts Table Service which each customer is required to spend minimum 5 dollars and able to stay up to 1 hour seating.

After placing order and paying, they provided 3 pagers; 2 shaved snow and 1 french toast.
We ordered both cold and hot items, and to be able to receive whatever was ready was very nice as we didn't have to worry about eating melted or cooled-down dishes.

Elixir

Green Tea Snow + Red Bean + Diced Taro + Condensed Milk + Lychee Jelly

Thinly shaved green tea ice cream was airy and also had icy texture.
It's similar to what Snowdays serves, but this ice cream quickly lost the fluffy texture and became wet, and it might be because this contained more water.
There're a lot of toppings besides sauce, which was nice.

Create Your Own

My husband chose Sweet Milk + Strawberry + Banana + Fruity Pebbles.
The fruits looked fresh and cereals were crispy, but he said he should have gotten some drizzles in place of one of the toppings he chose.

Hong Kong French Toast

Crispy brioche + 100% grade A maple syrup + berries + vanilla ice cream.
Today, it's strawberry.

The crust of the brioche was crispy and the bread was soft, but the slice didn't absorb egg wash enough so that it's a bit dried.

With maple syrup and melted vanilla ice cream, the dryness was covered and the warm and cold combination was enjoyable.

Overall, I thought it's a bit pricey but considering the location and quality, I think it's not that bad.

かき氷のお店を探していると、グレースストリートというお店の評価が高かった。
このお店はコリアタウンにあり、沢山のスイーツやコーヒー、お茶が提供されている。
土曜の16時半前に着くと9割の席が埋まっていたけれど、食べた後にすぐに席を立つ人も
いたので、席を見つけるのは難しくはなかった。
また、旦那が注文している間に私が席を確保したので、さらに容易だった。
