Josephine La Poutine is in the food court area of Complexe Desjardins.

I got a small poutine and it's served so much that the lid of the container was hardly closed.

Any single corner or space was missed to put the fries.

Despite the small sizes of cheese curds, they're quite squeaky and it's a good surprise.

They used thick fries and they're lightly crispy but I wish they're darker and crunchier.
The gravy sauce was classic and milk, and it's not too salty like other quick-service chains.

As I got a mountain of poutine served with squeaky curds and traditional gravy sauce, and I was ok with the subtly-crispy fries since it's only 5 dollars.

ジョセフィーヌ・ラ・プーティンはコンプレックス・デジャルダンのフードコートに
入っている。

Sサイズを注文すると、容器に収まらんばかりのプーティンが詰め込まれ、蓋が閉められ
ないほどだった。

隙間がないほど詰められたプーティン。

チーズカードは小さいものの、歯ごたえがしっかりあって驚いた。

太いポテトはサクッとした食感が少しあっただけで、もっとカリッとするまで揚がって
いたら良かった。
グレイビーソースはクラシックで食べやすい味で、他のクイックサービスチェーンと
比べると、塩辛さがなくて良かった。

キュキュッとしたチーズカードと伝統的なグレイビーソースが使われたプーティンが
山のように入っていて、ポテトの食感がいまひとつだったものの、5ドルなら十分だと
思えるプーティンだった。

A new and fall-winter only flavor for Tokyo Banana was launched on October 3, 2018, and it's coffee milk (cafe au lait) flavor.
Tokyo Banna Racco Coffee Milk Flavor is the actual name, and Racco is otter in English.

I had no idea, but October 1st is Day of Coffee, established by All Japan Coffee Association.
All over the paper, there're traditional glass bottles for milk and coffee milk with otter face.

Under the paper wrap, the box was very simple.

On the homepage, there's a "Secret of Tokyo Banana Racco" page.

The racco is holding a coffee milk bottle on the stomach.

Tokyo Banana Racco Coffee Milk Flavor

There're 8 Tokyo Banana Racco in the box.

They're individually wrapped in a pouch with red shiny ribbon print on top.

On the back, there's an otter wearing a red ribbon and holding a bottle of coffee milk.

Tokyo Banana Racco.
It had tiny ears on top, then face, and 2 hands holding a bottle of brown bottle = coffee milk.

The cream had light coffee scent, but the coffee milk flavor was sweet and banana flavor was quite strong.
I wish it had more fragrant or some bitterness of coffee.
However, as the filling had some coffee, the aftertaste was lighter than that of original Tokyo Banana.

東京ばな奈から新しい秋冬限定味のコーヒー牛乳味が2018年10月3日に発売された。

今まで聞いたことがなかったけれど、10月1日は全日本コーヒー協会が制定したコーヒーの
日らしい。
包み紙全体にラッコの顔付きの牛乳瓶がデザインされていた。

包み紙の下の箱は、とてもシンプルだった。

ホームページには「東京ばな奈 ラッコのひみつ」があった。
ひみつ1
おなかに乗っけたのは、“コーヒー牛乳”。
東京ばな奈ラッコは、コーヒー牛乳を貝のようにお腹に乗せている。

ひみつ2
ラッコも、東京ばな奈ラッコも、ふかふか。
世界で1番毛深い動物はラッコらしい。

ひみつ3
なかよく手を繋いで、ならんで浮かんでいるよ。
ラッコは群れで生活し、手を繋ぎながら寝る。

袋の上側に、赤いキラキラしたリボンがプリントされていた。

裏には赤いリボンを付け、コーヒー牛乳瓶を抱いたラッコがいた。

小さな耳、顔があり、手でコーヒー牛乳を握っている。

クリームにコーヒーの香りは少しあったものの、甘めのコーヒー牛乳味で思った以上に

バナナ味が強い印象だった。

もっとコーヒーの香ばしさや苦味があったら良かった。

ただ、コーヒー入りなので、通常の東京ばな奈よりも後味がすっきりしていた。

At the Morgan Library in Midtown East has a cafe called The Morgan Cafe and they serve afternoon tea called Morgan Tea.

It's located on the first floor and you can see the bright, glass-walled cafe when you enter the museum.
To use this cafe only doesn't require the museum entrance fee so that you can tell the staff that you're to go to the cafe, then they'll let you go through.
Some of the good things about this afternoon tea are that you don't need reservation, as it's first-come-first-served, and it's 26 dollars before tax besides you can get hot water refill to the tea pot as much as you want.
However, that also means that you may have to wait when it's crowded.

When we went there around 1:20 PM on Sunday, more than a half of the tables was open and we could sit immediately.
There's a live performance of flute and guitar, and there's no one speaking loud, and the atmosphere was good.

Though it's not busy, the waiter didn't come for about 5 minutes.
Menu

They had several black teas, herbal teas and green teas, and the brand was Harney and Sons.

I got Japanese Sencha.

The afternoon tea stand was 2-tier and it's wide, and having 3 stands on the square table was like playing Tetris to figure out how to place the stands, pots, and cups.

Upper plate had a scone, clotted cream, jam, brownies and madeleines.

Lower plate had 2 kinds of sandwiches and quiches.

Salmon, cream cheese and caper on pumpernickel

Cucumber on whole wheat

Quiche 

I think it's chicken or turkey, not ham, but I didn't like the cheese that had unique flavor.

Scone

It's a cranberry scone and served warm.

Clotted cream and strawberry jam.

It's a decent scone but I wish they had served it with a plain scone.

Brownie
I think it's served warm, and it's a dense and rich brownie.

Madeleine
It's served also warm and the outside was light and the inside was moist.

We couldn't change the tea leaves but they poured hot water into the pot.
It's 25 dollars and I think it's a good spot to have a break for a casual afternoon tea.

ミッドタウンイーストにあるモルガン・ライブラリーにあるモルガン・カフェでは、
モルガン・ティーと呼ばれるアフタヌーンティーが提供されている。

このカフェはガラス張りの明るい1階に位置し、博物館に入るとすぐに目に入る。
カフェを利用するだけの場合、入場料は不要なので、係の人にカフェの利用だと伝えると
通してもらえる。
また、このアフタヌーンティーのいくつかの利点は、予約不要なこと（先着順に案内
される）と、税抜き26ドルでお茶のポットに挿し湯を好きなだけしてもらえること。
ただ、混んでいる時間によっては待つこともあるらしい。

日曜日の13時20分頃に行った時は、半分以上の席が空いていて、すぐに座れた。
フルートとギターの生演奏があり、大声で話す人もおらず良かった。

空いていたものの、ウェイターが来るまでに5分ほどかかった。
メニュー

お茶は紅茶、ハーブティー、緑茶など数種類あり、ブランドはハーニー＆サンズだった。

私は煎茶にした。

アフタヌーティーのスタンドは横長の2段で、3人分頼むと真四角のテーブルがいっぱいに
なり、テトリスのようにスタンド、ポット、カップの位置を動かしてどうにか収まった。

上段にスコーン、クロテッドクリーム、ジャム、ブラウニー、マドレーヌ。

下段にサンドイッチ2種類、キッシュ。

サーモン、クリームチーズ、ケッパー、黒パン

キュウリ、全粒粉パン

キッシュ

豚肉ではなく鶏肉か七面鳥だったけれど、チーズに独特の香りがあり苦手だった。

スコーン

クランベリーのスコーンで、温かい状態で出された。

クロテッドクリームとイチゴジャム。

美味しいスコーンだったけれど、プレーンのスコーンと一緒に出されたら更に良かった。

ブラウニー
温かい状態で出された気がする。
ねっとり、しっとりしたブラウニー。

マドレーヌ
これも温かかった気がする。
外側がサクッとし、内側がしっとりしていた。

お茶の種類は変えられないものの、差し湯をしてもらえた。
25ドルで気軽にアフターヌンティーが楽しめ、少し休憩も出来る場所だった。
