Poutine From A&W
A&W のプーティン

A&W is a fast food chain founded in 1923 in California.
Their business has expanded and now they run business in Canada, Indonesia, and Japan (only in Okinawa) besides the United States.
To grab some food, we went one in Montreal and I tried the poutine.
It was my 2nd poutine today...
The list of poutine we had so far is below.
Frite Alors!
McDonald's
La Banquise
Pizza Hut
Burger King
Poutineville
Among fast food chain (McDonald's, Burger King and A&W), it was the most expensive poutine at A&W and it was 4.50 CND dollars before tax.
They use a plastic package and have logo on the top like McDonald's.

This is the poutine from A&W.
It looks nothing different from other poutine that we've tried.
However, the cup was broken...
It's just a fast food chain, so I can't compalin much this little thing, but I wish it wasn't ripped.

The fries seemed slightly thicker than other fast food chains.
Gravy sauce was as salty as Burger King and it didn't have much flavor and was watery.

One thing I didn't like about this poutine was they don't use cheese curds.
Poutine is supposed to consist of fries, gravy sauce, and CHEESE CURDS.
First I thought it was cheese curds but when I tried on the cheese, none of the pieces had the characteristic chewiness but they're chunks of mozzarella.
I don't know if it's we're there after 11PM and they're out of cheese curds, or this is the way they serve, but without cheese curds, I don't call it poutine.
The least recommended poutine.

アメリカ国内だけでなく、カナダ、インドネシア、沖縄県（日本では沖縄県のみ）で展開している。
少しお腹が空いたので近所のA&Wに行き、私はプーティンを食べてみることにした。
本日2回目のプーティン。
これまでに食べたプーティンのリストは以下。

ファストフード店のマクドナルド、バーガーキング、A&W で比較すると、
A&W のプーティンが一番高い 4.50 カナダドル（税抜）。
プラスチックのパッケージに収められていて、
蓋にはマクドナルドのようにA&Wのロゴが入っている。
見た目はこれまで食べたプーティンと何ら変わりなかったものの、
残念なことに入れ物が割れていた。
ファストフード店なので小さなことを気にしても仕方がないのだけれど、
ちゃんとした容器で出してもらいたかった。
ポテトは他のファストフード店より少し太い気がした。
グレービーソースはバーガーキングと同じくらいしょっぱくて、
風味もなく、シャバシャバで水っぽい。
一番残念なのは、A&Wがチーズカードを使っていないこと。
プーティンは、フライドポテトとグレービーソース、そして
チーズカードで成り立っているべき食べ物なのに。
最初に食べた時はチーズカードと思ったけれど、
チーズだけを食べてみると、チーズカード特有の
歯ごたえがなく、柔らかいモッツァレラの塊だった。
私たちが入店したのが23時を回っていたため
チーズカードが無かったのか、普段からチーズカードを使わないのかは
分からないけれど、チーズカードが入っていないプーティンは
プーティンではないと思うので、一番お勧めしないプーティン。
