I had 90 minutes before I'd head back to NYC, so I went to one of the closest poutineries from the hotel called "Montreal Pool Room."

This restaurant opened the door in 1912, so they've been in business for over 100 years.

They have hot dogs and burgers.

I ordered a poutine.

Besides the kitchen, the restaurant was very clean.

Though the name is "Pool Room," there's no pool table.

Poutine (petit)

It's labeled as small, it's quite large for the price and I felt like the cubic content was much larger than a box of 4 Pop-Tarts

The fries were freshly fried so that they're very hot, crispy outside and moist inside.

90% of the cheese curds were melted due to the hot fries and gravy, which was salty but had a hint of sweetness in the end.

When I stood up from a counter, an employee who prepared my poutine came and took the tray away for me and asked how the poutine was.
At a fast food restaurant, it rarely happens so it's thoughtful of him.

It's definitely a cheap, large, and tasty poutine.

ニューヨークに向かう前に90分あったので、ホテルから近い場所でプーティンを食べる
ため、「モントリオール プールルーム」に行ってきた。
このお店は1912年に開店したので、100年以上営業している。
10時50分ころお店に着き、プーティンを注文したけれど、ホットドッグ、ハンバーガーが
メインらしい。

キッチンだけでなく、レストラン内も清潔だった。
プールルームという名前だけれど、プールテーブル（ビリヤード台）はなかった。

小サイズと書かれていたけれど量はかなり多く、すき家の牛丼並みサイズに盛られている
のと同じ位の量だったと思う。
ポテトは太めで揚げたて熱々で、外側がサクサクし、内側はほくほくだった。
チーズカードの9割は、熱々のポテトとグレービーソースで溶けていた。
グレービーソースは塩っぱく、後味に少し甘かった。

席を立つとプーティンを作ってくれた人がお盆を片付けてくれ、プーティンが美味し
かったか聞かれた。
ファストフード店ではこのようなことがあまりないので、嬉しい。

安くて量が多く、美味しいプーティンだった。
