This place was on our to-do list while we're in Montreal for about 36 hours as my husband recently found that Ste-Catherine & Burger RestoBar now serves Mac & Cheese Poutine.
So today, this is my second poutine after the one from M:brgr.

We got there before 7 PM and got a table easily.

We asked for English menus and there're some interesting items, but I came here specifically for the Mac & Cheese poutine, so I ordered it.

Mac & Cheese Poutine

It's french fries covered with Mac & Cheese with gouda and aged cheddar topped with green onions and a ring of purple onion.

Macaroni was cooked perfect an not only the outside but the tubes contained cheese well.

Fries were skinny.
Macaroni + fries = carb & carb.

There're bacon slices in the Mac & Cheese so that it had smoky flavor.

It's quite good but there's no gravy sauce or cheese curds even though it's called "poutine" and it's more like "Fries topped with Mac & Cheese" as it looked.

約36時間モントリオールに滞在する間に必ず行こうと決めていたのが サンカトリーヌ&バーガー レストバーというお店。
旦那が最近このお店でマック&チーズ プーティンを出していると知り、ここに行くことを
決めた。
昼間にM:brgrに行ったので、今日2個目のプーティンとなる。

19時前に着いて、すぐ席に座ることができた。
英語のメニューをもらい各ページを見ると気になるメニューが数種類あったけれど、目的
であるマック&チーズ プーティンを注文。

マック&チーズ プーティン
フライドポテトの上にグーダとチェダーチーズのマック&チーズがかけてあり、ネギと
紫タマネギの輪切りが乗っていた。
マカロニはちょうど良く茹でててあり、外側にチーズがついているだけでなく、筒の中
にもしっかりとチーズソースが入っていた。
ポテトは細めにカットされ、マック&チーズの中には薄切りベーコンが入っていたため
スモークの香りがした。
マカロニとポテト＝炭水化物&炭水化物の一品だった。
プーティンと呼ばれているものの、グレービーソースはかかっておらず、チーズカードも
乗っていないので、美味しかったけれど「マック&チーズ乗せポテト」と言った印象。
