Lamb Madras Poutine From Rasoï
Rasoïのラム マドラス プーティン

I landed Montreal Airport and as usual, I took a bus to downtown.
Near the first bus stop from the airport by 747 bus, there's an Indian restaurant serving poutine according to my search called "Rasoï."
When I got to the restaurant, I asked a staff if they have poutines and as they did, I sat down.
The restaurant was elegant and the staffs were very friendly and talkative.
Menu was wood board and there're many tasty-sound food listed, but my priority was poutine so I just ordered their Lamb Madras Poutine.
I was curious about Lamb Madras, and according to my search, it's a type of fairly hot curry with reddish color because of the heavy use of chili pepper.
Lamb Madras Poutine
This poutine was described to be made with house cut fries, Madras curry infused gravy, lamb leg, crispy fried onions, Quebec cheese curds and cilantro.
It turned out blurred but these fried onions were a lot on the top and they're light and crispy.
Fries were all covered in the Madras curry and they're too soggy to find any crispy parts.
I don't like those fries soaked in gravy sauce, and it looked like the balance of fries, gravy sauce and cheese curds was off.
Lamb was spiced well and the meat didn't have any odor.
Cheese curds were small and soft, not many pieces were used.

747バスの最初の停留所の近くに、「Rasoï」というインド料理屋がありプーティンを
出していると読んだ。
お店に行って店員にプーティンがあるか聞き、1種類あると言っていたので席に着いた。
レストランは上品な雰囲気で、スタッフはとても気さくだった。
メニューは木製の表紙で、美味しそうなメニューが沢山あったけれど、プーティンが
最優先だったのでラム マドラス プーティンだけ頼んだ。
ラム マドラスがどのようなものか気になり調べてみると、辛口のカレーで、唐辛子を沢山
使用するため赤みがかった色だと説明があった。
プーティンはハウスカット フライ、マドラスカレー味のグレービー、羊の足、揚げた
タマネギ、ケベックチーズカード、コリアンダーが使われていた。
上部には揚げたタマネギが乗っていて、軽い食感でサクサクしていた。
ポテトはマドラスカレーが大量にかかっていたため、サクサクした部分が全くなく全体が
べちょべちょだった。
私はポテトがグレービーに浸かっているものはあまり好きではないので、これはポテト
グレービー、チーズカードのバランスが悪いように感じた。
ラム肉はスパイスの味がして、臭みは全然なかった。
チーズカードは小さくて柔かく、あまり量が乗っていなかった。
コリアンダーはすっきりした香りで、ラムカレーでもあっさりと食べられた。
カレーは美味しかったので、次回はインド料理を食べてみたいと思う。
