Poutine On The Ritz From The Friendly Toast

We went to Boston and saw our friends, and had breakfast/brunch at The Friendly Toast in Cambridge.
As they had informed us, the place was FULL at 10 AM and people kept coming in and waiting in the bar area and outside.
Luckily, our friends were there earlier and put the name on, and we're seated in about 10-15 minutes.
The interior was colorful and unique.
Menu
There's "Poutine On The Ritz" and it's described as "our spin on a Canadian classic: sweet potato fries smothered in chorizo corn gravy and melted feta."
It clearly mentioned no cheese curds, but I decided to give it a try.
Poutine On The Ritz
I thought this appetizer would be multiple mini poutine placed over Ritz crackers, but there's not Ritz but fries and gravy.
Chorizo and corn gravy contained jalapeño or some sort of spices which added great kick to the creamy gravy.
Corns were sweet and chorizo was salty and finely chopped.
Sweet potato fries were long and flat with some bumpy lines.
The outside was orange brown, and the inside was bright.
It's crispy outside, especially the edges and convex points.
Feta cheese wasn't really melted and they're still crumbly and light.
It's much more refreshing than cheese curds, and I think it's the best choice as the gravy was rich and hearty.
As our friends said they'd do their best with what they have, this recreated poutine was enjoyable.
Though it's crowded, our waiter was really attentive, helpful, welcoming, and friendly.

前もって聞いてはいたけれど、10時には既に満席でバーエリアやお店の外で待っている
人が沢山いた。
友達が先に着いて名前を書いておいてくれたので、10〜15分程度で席に着くことが
できた。
インテリアはカラフルで、ユニークだった。
メニューに「プーティン オン ザ リッツ」というものがり、説明にサツマイモのフライ、
チョリソーとトウモロコシのグレービー、溶けたフェタチーズをかけた「カナダの料理に
お店のアレンジを加えた」と書かれていた。
チーズカードが使われていないと明記してあったけれど、頼むことにした。
このアペタイザーは、リッツクラッカーの上に小さなプーティンが乗ったものが並べ
られたものかと思っていたけれど、リッツは使われておらず、ポテトとグレービーだけが
見えた。
チョリソーとトウモロコシのグレービーにはハラペーニョかスパイスが入っていて、
クリーミーなグレービーに良い辛さを足していた。
トウモロコシは甘く、チョリソーは細かく刻まれていて塩気があった。
サツマイモのフライは長く平らで、凹凸があった。
外側はオレンジがかった茶色、内側は明るい色だった。
外側の出っ張った部分と端が特にサクサクしていた。
フェタチーズは溶けておらず、まだボロボロとしていた。
チーズカードよりもさっぱりした味で、この具沢山で濃い味のグレービーソースにフェタ
チーズが良く合っていた。
友達が「このお店だったら美味しいものが出てくるはず」と言っていた通り、この
プーティンはなかなか美味しかった。
混雑していたものの、ウェイターはフレンドリーでテーブルに様子を伺いに来てくれて
よかった。
