 We saw Red Velvet Oreo McFlurry (Velours Rouge Avec Morceaux De Biscuit Oreo in French) was listed on the menu in Montreal, and as I heard it's limited time flavor, I got one.
McFlurry was born in New Brunswick, Canada, and to celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, they launched this Red Velvet Oreo McFlurry on May 12 and it'll be available till September 1, 2015.

 The cup was special version, and it had "20 years of McFlurry" and the "0" had a maple leaf in the center.

Born in Canada, loved around the world.

 I was hoping to see red and white marbles like the advertisement, but the whole ice cream was pinkish red with Oreo cookie crumbles.

Though it's named Red Velvet, it didn't have any sweet cake flavor and I felt like it's just a regular milk ice cream with red coloring.
I'd say Red Velvet Oreo Shake From Burger King had much better red velvet cake flavor.

モントリオールのマクドナルドでレッドベルベット オレオ マックフルーリーがメニューに
載っていて、期間限定商品だと知り食べてみた。

 マックフルーリーはカナダのニューブランズウィック州で生まれ、今年で発売20周年と
なるため、5月12日から9月1日までレッドベルベット オレオ マックフルーリーが販売
される。

 カップも特別仕様で「マックフルーリー20周年」と書かれていて、0の中には楓の葉が
描かれていた。

 広告のように赤と白のマーブル模様を期待していたけれど、全体がピンクがかった赤色で
オレオの破片が混ざっているだけだった。
レッドベルベットと名前が付いているけれど甘いケーキの香りはなく、普通のミルク
アイスクリームに赤い着色料を混ぜてあるだけのようだった。
バーガーキングのレッドベルベット オレオ シェイクの方がレッドベルベットケーキの
香りがずっと強く美味しかった。

 Tonight, we found a new limited S'mores Oreo at the supermarket we stopped by.
The package had s'mores made with melted marshmallows as an image of the flavor.

 Side.

 On the back, there're details about this Oreo.
The bookies are graham flavored cookies, so it's not graham crackers.
The white part is marshmallow flavored cream, thus it's not melted marshmallow.
Chocolate is chocolate cream.

 When I opened the package, it had sweet scent but it didn't have any fragrant scent of graham crackers or sweet marshmallows.

 Graham flavored cookies were pale golden brown.

 The cream was as smooth as always, and there's no fluffy texture that melted marshmallows have, richness of lightly melted chocolate nor characteristic flavor of graham crackers, and it's difficult to imagine s'mores and quite disappointing.

今夜立ち寄ったスーパーで、偶然オレオの新限定商品「スモアズ オレオ」を見つけた。
パッケージには、味のイメージとして溶けたマシュマロが挟まれたスモアズの絵が載って
いた。

 裏側にはオレオの詳細が書かれていた。
クッキー：グラハム風味のクッキー（なのでグラハムクッキーではない）
白いクリーム： マシュマロ風味（なので溶けたマシュマロではない）
チョコレート： チョコレートクリーム

 袋を開けると甘い香りがしたけれど、グラハムの香ばしさやマシュマロのではなく単に
「甘い」という印象の香りが広がった。
グラハムクッキーは淡いきつね色をしていた。
実際に食べてみたけれどクリームはいつも通り滑らかで、溶けたマシュマロのふんわり
した食感や少し溶けたチョコレートのコクもなく、グラハム独特の風味もないため、
スモアズを想像できない味で残念だった。

I’ve been invested in poutine from Dairy Queen and I walked to one of the decent sized branches the other day.
However, the branch didn’t have poutine so that I only got a new Blizzard which is new and collaborated with “Jurassic World” launched on May 26, 2015.

 The new favor was advertised as “Jurassic Smash Blizzard” and it’s a smashed up peanut butter cookies and cookie dough comes in a Jurassic World cup.
But again, this branch didn’t have that cup either… 
I was so hungry that I just got it in a regular cup, because I had no choice.
The menu on the counter said, “Peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookie dough, peanut butter and choco chunks.”

Regarding Dairy Queen, it’s a chain of soft-serve and fast food restaurants opened for business on June 22, 1940 in Illinois.
About Blizzard, it’s a soft-serve blended with mix-ins like cookies, brownies, or candies.
It’s launched in 1985, and that year Dairy Queen sold more than 100 million Blizzards.
On July 26, 2010, they introduced a “Mini” which is 6 oz.

There’re 4 sizes (Mini - 6 oz, Small - 12 oz., Medium - 16 oz. and Large - 21 oz.), and I chose “Petit" which is Mini but as it's in Montreal, everything was in French.
After mixing it up, he flipped the cup upside down to see if the ice cream was thick enough to stay in the cup.
I did it the same on my own, and yes, it stayed as it was.

 It's 75th anniversary of Blizzard.

The vanilla ice cream was smooth without any icy and rocky texture, and though it’s refreshing, the vanilla flavor was dense.

 And there’re lots of crispy cookies, sticky dough and chunky chocolate pieces, and every time I scooped some ice cream, the ratio of the ice cream and the chunks was about 1:1 in the spoon.
Peanut butter added saltiness besides sweetness and choco chunks were a little bit bitter, and those chunks were full filing so that for me, the petit size was more than enough for me.
Overall, I couldn't eat the poutine nor get the Jurassic World cup, and it's quite sad.

デイリークイーンのプーティンを食べたいと思い、そこそこ大きな店舗へ歩いて行って
きた。
ただ、その店舗ではプーティンがなかったので「ジュラシックワールド」とコラボした
2015年5月26日に新発売されたブリザードだけを注文した。
新フレーバーは「ジュラシック スマッシュ ブリザード」と広告が出ていて、ピーナッツ
バター クッキーとクッキードウが使われ、ジュラシックワールドのカップに入っている。
ところが、ここの店舗にはそのカップがないと言われてしまった。。。

 お腹が空いていたのと、他に選択肢がないのでとりあえず頼むことにした。
カウンターのメニューにはピーナッツバタークッキー、チョコレートチップクッキー
ドウ、ピーナッツバター、チョコチャンクと載っていた。

デイリークイーンはイリノイ州で1940年6月22日に創業したソフトクリームとファスト
フードレストラン チェーン。
ブリザードはソフトクリームに機械でクッキーやブラウニー、キャンディーなどの具材を
混ぜたもので、発売された1985年には1億個以上を売り上げた。
2010年7月26日、177mlのミニサイズが追加された。

サイズは全部で4種類（ミニ - 177ml、S - 359ml、M - 473ml、L - 621ml）あり、1番小さい
「プチ」を選んだ。（モントリオールは仏語圏なので、プチ＝ミニサイズ）
全てを混ぜ終わるとカップを上下逆さまにし、濃いアイスクリームがカップから落ちて
こないかを確かめていた。
自分でも逆さまにしてみたところ、アイスクリームは落ちずにカップに収まっていた。

バニラアイスクリームは滑らかで、シャリシャリした部分はなく、あっさりしている
けれど濃いミルク味だった。
また、ザクザクしたクッキー、むちっとしたクッキードウ、ごろごろのチョコチャンクが
沢山入っていて、どこをすくってもアイスクリームと具材が1対1ほどの割合で入って
いた。

 ピーナッツバターは甘さだけではなく塩気も足し、チョコチャンクは少し苦さがあり、
具材が沢山入っていたので、私にはプチサイズで十分な量だった。
それにしても、プーティンも食べられず、ジュラシックワールドのカッップももらえず、
残念な日だった。

Nutella bagel is the last and the third item I’m trying form Tim Hortons which is featuring with Nutella.
When I first learned that they’re launching Bagel with Nutella Spread, I thought the dough would be using the popular hazelnut paste, but actually, it’s just a “bagel of your choice with Nutella” sadly.

I chose plain and was waiting for my bagel, and one of the employees who was preparing my Nutella bagel said loud, “I hate preparing. It’s so stickyyyyy!”
To receive my bagel from her after hearing that was uncomfortable and I thought it’s quite rude. (I don’t care if she hates working on it, but I wanted to eat.)

The toasted bagel was sliced into half and cut into half, so there’re 4 pieces.

 Inside, there’s a quite few Nutella and wherever I bit, I tasted sufficient amount of Nutella.
As it’s cut into pieces, it’s easy to eat but in the end, my fingers and mouth were sticky with Nutella.

The flavor was nothing special but Nutella with a plain bagel.
I already knew what it’d taste like, and I thought this is the lamest item that they claimed to have produced with Nutella.

これはヌッテラを使用したティム・ホートンズの3種類のメニューの1つで、ヌッテラを
塗ったベーグル。

最初にヌッテラ ベーグルが発売されると聞いた時は、ベーグル生地にヘーゼルナッツの
甘いペーストが入っているかと思ったのだけれど、実際は「好きなベーグルにヌッテラが
塗られているだけ」だと分かった。

プレーンエーグルを選んで商品が出されるのを待っていた間、私のベーグルを準備して
いる店員が「これ大嫌い。かなりベタつくから嫌～～～！」と言っていた。
これを聞いた後にその店員から商品を受け取るのは気分が悪く、正直失礼だと思った。
（食べたかったのは私なので、その店員がヌッテラを塗るのが嫌いだろうが関係ない）

トーストされたベーグルは半分にスライスされ、さらに半部にカットされていて、全部で
4個に分かれていた。
内側にヌッテラがたっぷりと塗ってあり、どこを食べても十分なヌッテラが味わえた。
予め切ってあったので食べやすかったけれど、手と口がヌッテラでベトベトになった。

食べる前からどのような味か分かっていたけれど、いつものヌッテラとプレーンベーグル
だった。

「ヌッテラを使った商品」と謳っているものの、かなりつまらない商品だった。

 Besides The 1/3lb. Most American Thickburger, I got a limited time ice cream called "Hostess Ding Dong Ice Cream Sandwich" at Carl's Jr.

 I've never had Ding Dong, but Ding Dong is a Hostess brand's cake which is shaped into a hockey pack.
It looks like CupCake but it's a shorter column without the swirls on the top.

 On the sticker, it said "Hand-Scooped."

 This was the ice cream sandwich inside.

 It looked like the one in the advertisement.

 From the side.

 The Ding Dong was chocolate covered chocolate cake, and sliced cakes weren't frozen so that they're still a bit soft.
In the center of the cakes, there's cream filling and which was still soft and fluffy, and milk ice cream was sweet.
It's quite good and a perfect sized dessert, especially after having a large The 1/3lb. Most American Thickburger.

 ディング ドングをまだ食べたことがないのだえkれど、ホステスブランドのケーキで、
アイスホッケーのパックの形に似ている。
カップケーキに似ているけれど、背が低い円柱型で、表面に白い線が入っていない。

 ステッカーには「（機械ではなく）手ですくったアイス」と書かれていた。
実物のアイスクリーム サンドイッチは、広告に載っていた写真にそっくりだった。

 ディング ドングはチョコレートに包まれたチョコレートケーキで、半分にスライスされた
ケーキは凍っておらずまだ少し柔らかかった。
ケーキの中心にはふんわりと柔らかいクリーム フィリングが入っていて、ミルクアイス
クリームは甘かった。
とても美味しくて、大きな1/3ポンド モースト アメリカン シックバーガーを食べた後には
ちょうど良い大きさのデザートだった。

 I remember seeing that Carl's Jr. would launch some crazy burgers that contain beef patty, cheese, hotdogs and potato chips.
Yesterday, we went to Carl's Jr. after arriving at San Francisco, and I sure tried the smaller one called "The 1/3lb. Most American Thickburger."
It's launched on Monday 20, 2015, so it's very new like the advertisement says.
* The ad is 1/2 pound burger.

 Unlike the one in downtown in San Francisco, this branch was much cleaner, larger and more welcoming.

 When I asked if The 1/3lb. Most American Thickburger contained mayonnaise, then the cashier said no but only ketchup and mustard, so I could get it as it was.
Also, I ordered a Hostess Ding Dong Ice Cream Sandwich, which is a limited time item and launched on the 20th, too.

 When we paid, we received a receipt and a piece of plastic with a number and waited at a table.

When one of the cashiers brought the burgers, she asked me if I wanted the ice cream together, and when I said no yet, she said I could tell her when I'd be ready.

 The burger was so thick like the name that the box didn't close.

 On the Carl's Jr. star, there's a sticker "American" to tell the content is The Most American Thickburger.

 From the side; it's very difficult to hold it as it's heavy, tall, and a lot were going on.

 From the top, there's a bun, ketchup, mustard, a split hotdog, an American cheese, a beef patty, tomatoes, lettuce, potato chips, pickles and more ketchup on a bottom bun.

 It's a messy burger as it looked and while holding and biting the humongous and heavy burger, lots of condiments and water were drizzling from the bottom of the paper wrap.

 The buns were said "Fresh Baked Bun" and I could see that at least they toasted that soft inside and fragrant and golden brown outside buns, and the white buns had subtle sweetness.
The potato chips were Lay's Kettle Cooked chips, which are thick sliced, so that many stayed crunchy though they're between some wet ingredients.
The split hotdog didn't look like it's grilled as it's supposed to be and they're more like boiled.
I couldn't tell if they used pork or beef hotdog, but it tasted like the same as the hotdogs sold on the street in NYC, which I mean beef hotdog.

 I'm not a huge fan of mustard, but somehow, it was adding refreshing sour and spicy flavor to this meaty burger and it's like a vinaigrette dressing for the tomatoes and lettuce with crunchy wavy sliced pickles.

 I was afraid it'd taste awful with tons of unnecessary calories, but I really enjoyed it.
However, my husband stopped me eating after I ate about 2/3 or the burger as I had an ice cream to eat.
It may sound crazy, but I'd love to eat this again.

カールスジュニアがビーフパティ、チーズ、ホットドッグ（ソーセージ）、さらにポテト
チップスを挟んだ狂気じみたバーガーを発売すると聞いた。
昨日サンフランシスコに着いた後カールズジュニアへ行き、小さな方のバーガー「1/3
ポンド モースト アメリカン シックバーガー」を食べた。
* 1/3ポンド＝約152グラム

 2015年5月20日に発売されたばかりで、広告には1/2ポンド（約227グラム）のパティが
挟まれた写真が載っていた。

 サンフランシスコのダウンタウンの店舗とは違って綺麗で、大きく、入りやすい雰囲気
だった。
マヨネーズが入っているか聞くと「マヨネーズは入っていないけれど、ケチャップとマス
タードが入っています」とのことで、カスタマイズせずに注文した。
また、5月20日に発売されたホステス ディング ドング アイスクリーム サンドイッチという
期間限定商品も買った。
支払い後レシートと番号が書かれたプレートを渡され、席に座って待った。

 バーガーが運ばれてきた時、店員にアイスクリームを今持ってくるか聞かれ、今は不要と
伝えたところ、「アイスを食べられるようになったらレジに行って私に教えてくれたら
すぐに出しますね」と言われた。

 名前通りハンバーガーが分厚いため、蓋が閉まっていなかった。
カールズジュニアの星の上に、「アメリカン」と書かれたシールが貼ってあり、中身が
モースト アメリカン シックバーガーであると分かるようになっていた。
側面には「シックバーガーズ ブラックアンガスビーフ100％のパティ」と書かれていた。

 バーガーは重たく厚みがあり、色々なものが入っていたので、持つのが難しかった。
上からバンズ、ケチャップ、マスタード、半分にスライスされたホットドッグ、アメリカン
チーズ、ビーフパティ、トマト、レタス、ポテトチップス、ピクルス、ケチャップが塗ら
れたバンズとなっていた。

 見た目通り散らかりやすいバーガーで、この巨大で重たいハンバーガーを持ってかじると
調味料や水分がダラダラと包み紙の下から垂れてきた。
バンズは「焼きたて」と書かれていて、少なくともトーストしたばかりの食感だった。
内側は柔らかく、外側はきつね色に焼けて香ばしく、白いパンは少し甘味があった。
ポテトチップスはレイズのケトルクックで分厚いスライスだったので、水気の多い食材に
挟まれていたにもかかわらず、多くはカリカリしたままだった。

 半分にスライスされたホットドッグはグリルされたものが使われるはずだけれど、茹でた
ようにしか見えなかった。
豚か牛か分からなかったけれど、ニューヨーク市内の道で売られているホットドッグと
味が似ていたので牛肉だと思う。

 マスタードはあまり好きではないのだけれど、酸味と辛さが肉肉しいバーガーにすっきり
した味を足していた。
また、カリッとした波形カットのピクルスと一緒にトマトやレタスにビネグレットの
ドレッシングのような風味を添えていた。

 最初は無駄なカロリーが含まれた不味いバーガーなのではないかと心配だったけれど、
実際はとても美味しかった。
ただ、アイスクリームも食べるので2/3程度を食べたところで旦那に止められた。
驚くかもしれないけれど、また食べたいと思う味だった。
