When we're walking around downtown in Montreal, I got hungry and we went to Tim Hortons as they're easy to find.
My husband said there're some new goods, so I decided to get a Strawberry Shortcake Muffin (Muffin Shortcake Aux Fraises) which had "NOUVEAU" over the name, meaning it's a new item. 

Other Tim Hortons' goods I reviewed are below.

From the top.It's a dough mix of pink and white dough with strawberry filling in the middle.

The muffin was wrapped in a different paper cup from the ones I tried which were using regular muffin cups.
This one was using like a flower shaped cup.

As it looked, inside was not completely pink but a marble pattern.

The objects on the top were sponge cakes I think.
They're not crispy but soft and tasted different from the muffin dough.

The muffin itself had light strawberry flavor and the strawberry filling (close to jam but no strawberry flesh) was thick and gooey, and very sweet.
At least the muffin dough wasn't so sweet that it's enjoyable.
It didn't have whipped cream so it's more like strawberry shortcake with strawberry sauce, instead of strawberry shortcake.



モントリオールを歩いている時、お腹が空いたのでティム・ホートンズに立ち寄った。
カナダでは沢山店舗があり、簡単に見つけることができる。
旦那が新商品がいくつか出ていたと言っていたので、ストロベリーショートケーキ
マフィンを買うことにした。
商品名の上には「NOUVEAU」と書かれていた。
* Nouveau は仏語で「新しい」という意味。

これまでに食べたティム・ホートンズ商品は以下。

上から見ると生地はピンクと白い部分がまだらに混ざっていて、中心にはストロベリー

フィリングを入れた跡があった。

このマフィンは今まで食べたマフィンとは違い、花のような形をした紙に包まれていた。

（食べたことがあるマフィンは普通のマフィンカップに入っていた）

包み紙の中もピンクと白い生地が完全には混ざっておらずマーブル模様だった。

上に乗っていた塊は、マフィン生地とは味が違っていたのでスポンジケーキだと思う。

マフィン自体もほんのりイチゴの香りがし、ストロベリーフィリングは果肉が入って

いないジャムのようなべっとりし、とても甘かった。

ただ、生地自体はそれほど甘くないので、全体としてはしつこい甘さではない。

ホイップクリームが使われていなかったので、ストロベリーショートケーキと言うよりは

ストロベリーケーキのストロベリーソースがけ、といった印象。
