This is another donut that my husband got from Tim Hortons called "Canadian Maple."

When I checked on both Canada and USA sites, both had this donut listed thought I thought it's Canada only kind.

It's not a ring-shaped donut, so I knew it'd contain some filing in the center.

After one bite, I didn't see any filling yet.
Maple flavor in the frosting on the top was so strong that I didn't really taste anything in the dough.
The frosting was soft and sticky and reminded me of maple butter, but the texture was much harder.

After 2 bites, I reached the filling.
The filling was creamy and lighter than I had expected.

First I thought it had citrus flavor like lemon, and then I tasted some caramel flavor with a hint of salt.
Canadian Maple was less sweet than I imagined and I liked the maple frosting.

名前で売られている。

アメリカとカナダ両方のサイトを見たところ、両サイトに載っていたのでカナダ限定ではないらしい。
輪っか型のドーナツではないので、真ん中にフィリングが入っていると分かった。

一口かじった時はまだフィリングに到達しなかった。
メープル味のフロスティングは香りが強かったので、ドーナツの生地がどんな味だったか
分からなかった。
フロスティングは柔らかくベタベタしていて、固めのメープルバターのようだった。

二口食べたところで出てきたフィリングはクリーミーで、思ったよりもあっさりしていた。
最初にレモンのような柑橘類の香りがし、その後で塩気のあるキャラメル味のように感じた。
カナディアン メープルは想像していたよりも甘くなく、メープルフロスティングが美味しかった。
