Tim Hortons has various doughnuts and muffins and the stocks are varied from shop to shop.
Today, I tried new muffin called "Lemon Poppyseed Muffin," which uses lemon flavor and poppy seeds in the dough.
* Tim Hortons spells "poppyseed" so I use that here for the product name.

This is Lemon Poppyseed Muffin.

In the pale yellow dough, there're a lot of black dots, poppy seeds.
When I first looked at this, they kind of looked like mold. 

It smelled sweet like other baking goods, but it definitely had citrus flavor like lemon zest even before I took a bite.

On the top, there're some sugar chunks which provided fragile but crunchy texture, and poppy seeds in the soft and bouncy dough were popping.

Even though it's a sugary muffin, thanks to the refreshing lemon flavor and scent, it doesn't taste as sweet as chocolate muffins or berry muffins.
So if you don't like sweets, maybe this Lemon Poppyseed Muffin will be suitable.

ティム・ホートンズには、店舗ごとに取扱いが異なるドーナツやマフィンに沢山のフレーバーがある。
今日は「レモンポピーシードマフィン」という、レモン味の生地にケシの実（ポピーシード）を混ぜた
フレーバーを食べた。

これまでに食べたティム・ホートンズ商品は以下。

フルーツ エクスプロージョン マフィン
グリルドチーズ

淡い黄色の生地の中に、沢山の黒い点々（ケシの実）が混ざっていた。
この点々が一瞬カビに見えた。

袋から出すと、他のマフィンやドーナツと同じように甘い香りがし、レモンの酸っぱい香りが
食べる前から漂っていた。
表面には砂糖のシャリシャリした部分があり、ふわふわの生地全体に入ったケシの実の
プチプチした食感が面白いマフィンだった。

確かに砂糖たっぷりの甘いマフィンだけれど、爽やかなレモンの味や香りで、チョコレートマフィンや
ベリー系のマフィンに比べて強烈な甘さはなかったので、甘いものが苦手でも、このレモンポピー
シードマフィンなら食べやすいと思う。
