My husband got me a new limited time item from Tim Hortons called "Tim Ultimate Cinnamon Bun."

Other Tim's goods I reviewed are below.

The Cinnamon Bun he got me was launched this year (not sure when but around April), and it's served warm in a plastic cup and lid, but as he got it at the airport, it's cold.

Before opening the bag, I could smell sweet cinnamon flavor.

Generous amount of frosting was covering the Cinnamon Bun and as it's cold, the frosting was dry and a little bit fragile.

I don't remember when I had a cold cinnamon roll last time, so I forgot how firm the bread/dough part was.
It felt like a rolled bread outside so it kept the shape, but inside with cinnamon spread was moist and soft.

First I was afraid that the cinnamon would taste strong, but with bread with subtle sweetness and lemon flavored frosting, the balance was good.
And I felt like when it's cold, the cinnamon smelled less (to compare with warm Cinnabon Classic).

I could only picture cinnamon roll = warm, but it was still tasty when it's cold, too.
And for the convenience, it's easy to hold when it's not oven-fresh-hot.


By the way, this year is Tim Hortons' 50th anniversary so that the bag had thank you note on the back.

旦那がティム・ホートンズの新期間限定商品「ティムズ アルティメット シナモン バン」を買ってきて
くれた。

これまでに食べたティム・ホートンズ商品は以下。
レッドベルベットマフィン
プレッツェル ベーグルとチョコレート ドリーム ラテ
クリスピーチキン
フルーツ エクスプロージョン マフィン
グリルドチーズ

このシナモンバンは今年4月頃に発売されたようで、温かい状態で蓋つきのプラスチック容器に
入って出されるらしい。
ただ、旦那は空港で買ったため、冷たい状態で提供されたとのこと。

袋を開ける前からシナモンの甘い香りがした。
十分な量のフロスティングがかかっていた。
冷えているのでフロスティングは乾いていて、少しもろかった。

温かくないシナモンロールを食べたのがいつだったか思い出せないほど前なので、生地の部分が
固いことをすっかり忘れていた。
生地はパンのようにしっかりした固さで、手で持っても崩れることはなかった。
ただ、シナモンスプレッドが塗られた内側は柔らかく、しっとりしていた。
シナモンの味が強いかと思ったけれど、甘みの少ないパン生地とレモン風味のフロスティングで、
シナモンとバランスが取れていた。
また、温かいシナボンのシナボン クラシックと比べて、冷たい状態の方がシナモンの香りが
柔らいように感じた。

今までは「シナモンロールは温かいもの」と思っていたけれど、冷たくても十分美味しかった。
手で持って食べるなら、焼き立て熱々ではない方が便利。

ちなみに、今年はティム・ホートンズが50周年のため、紙袋の裏には「ご愛顧いただきありがとう
ございます」のメッセージが記載されていた。
