Oreo Explosion From A Sugar Bakery & Sweet Shop Truck

After Louis' Lunch, my husband spotted a blue truck which sells cupcakes on the street, and he pulled over to drop me off to buy.
The truck was from "Sugar Bakery & Sweet Shop," which had a label saying "Winner of Cupcake Wars" on Food Network. --- It seems like they won 2010.
Sugar Bakery & Sweet Shop is run by mother and daughter, and it's founded in 2004.
The shop is located in East Haven, CT.
It's around 1 PM on Thursday, and we're lucky to find the truck as it changes spots every a couple of hours and depends on the date, they don't come to the place we found it.
I asked a vendor the recommendation and he said the top 5 on the chart next to the window.
As soon as I saw this, I was asking for Oreo Explosion because it's chocolate x cream = must be awesome.
A neatly decorated cupcake was stored in a plastic cake.
On the top, there's a piece of Oreo cookie on the top and the shaped was like a slice of pizza.
The label had the same color (blue) and stripes (black and white) like the truck had.
From the bottom, it's chocolate cupcake filled with Oreo mousse, and vanilla buttercream frosting with a piece of Oreo.
A brown piece between Oreo mousse and vanilla butter cream frosting, it's a part of chocolate cupcake.
It must have been stored in a fridge as it's very cold.
Oreo on the top wasn't crispy but very wet; I think it absorbed water from vanilla frosting.
I thought the cupcake would be dry inside, but it's very moist and I'd describe the texture chewy and gooey more than being soft.
Not knowing how long the cupcake was stored, it tasted very fresh and the filing and frosting weren't dry at all even on the surface.
And the frosting wasn't too sweet and it's very enjoyable.
The amount of was perfect and usually I scrape off some exceeded frosting, but I didn't have to do that to this cupcake and I truly enjoyed this whole sweet.
It's 3 dollars (tax incl.) and I found it's a decent price for the quality and the size.
I'd love to try other flavors when I visit that area, and I even wanna ask them to make our wedding cake.

フードネットワークで放送している「カップケーキ ウォーズの優勝者」と書かれていた。
調べてみると2010年に優勝したらしい。
* カップケーキ ウォーズ（Cupcake Wars）は、カップケーキの見た目、美味しさ、技術を
競う番組。
シュガーベーカリー&スイートショップは母親と娘が経営するお店で、2004年に設立し、
コネチカット州イーストへイヴンに店舗がある。
トラックに近づいたのは木曜日の13時頃。
数時間ごとに移動し曜日によってはこの日と同じ場所にはいないため、見つけられて
ラッキーだった。
カウンターから何がお勧めかを聞いた所、窓の横にある表の上位5種類が人気だと教わった
ので、リストを見てみた。
オレオ エクスプロージョンを見て、美味しいはずだと確信し、すぐにそれを注文した。
* オレオ エクスプロージョン（Oreo Explosion）は、「オレオの爆発」という意味。
プラスチックのケースに収められたカップケーキは綺麗にデコレーションされていて、
トップにはピザの1切れのような形をしたオレオクッキーが飾られていた。
カップのラベルはトラックと同じ青色と、白黒のストライプ模様だった。
生地はチョコレートケーキ、その上にオレオのムース、さらにバニラバタークリームの
フロスティングと、オレオクッキーが乗っていた。
オレオムースとフロスティングの間には、くり抜かれたチョコレートケーキの上部が
挟まれていた。
カップケーキがパサついているかと思たけれど、非常にしっとりしていた。
スポンジはふんわりと言うよりは、グニッとしたもっちり食感。
カップケーキがどの程度の時間保存されていたかは分からないけれど、フィリングや
フロスティングの表面も全く乾いておらず、できたてのような美味しさだった。
また、フロスティングは甘すぎることはなく、かなり食べやすい味。
量もケーキとのバランスが非常によく、普段は過剰分を削ぎ落として食べることが多い
けれど、今回は全て残さず美味しく食べられた。
カップケーキは1個税込 3USドルで、この品質と大きさを考えると妥当な値段だと思う。
また近くへ機会があれば他のカップケーキも食べてみたいし、結婚式のケーキもお願い
したいくらい。
