Last night, my husband and I were at Seven Eleven to look for some new snacks and happened to find a special Oreo called "Oreo Premium Edition Rich Milk Cream."

This product was launched on May 12, 2014, so it's pretty new.
I wonder why I didn't see this for over a week at all.

On the side, it said that they used milk from Hokkaido to produce rich cream filling placed between the cookies.

This Oreo was slightly larger than classic Oreo, and the cream was about 2 times thicker than that of regular Oreo.

The cream looked like a crushed marshmallow.

The cookies had the same bitter sweet flavor, and the cream was airy.
However, I describe the cream as "oily," not "rich."
The cream melted away smoothly but some greasy texture and smell were left in the mouth.

I liked regular Oreo much better.

旦那と昨晩セブンイレブンで新しいお菓子を探していた時、「オレオ プレミアムエディション
 濃厚ミルククリーム」を偶然見つけた。

2014年5月12日に発売されたらしいけれど、発売から1週間以上もこの商品の存在を
知らなかった。

北海道産のミルクを使った濃厚なクリームをサンドしてあると側面に記載されていた。
このオレオは、通常のオレオよりも一回り大きく、クリームの厚みも倍ほどあり、押しつぶされた
マシュマロのようだった。

ほろ苦さのある甘いクッキーの味は同じで、クリームはふわっとしていた。
ただ、濃厚と言うよりも油っぽい食感で口どけは滑らかだったけれど、やはり油っぽいとろみが
口に残った。

普通のオレオの方が美味しかった。
