My husband got me a new limited edition cookie from Pepperidge Farm called "Blueberry Cobbler."

Until I looked at the package, I'd never heard "cobbler" so I started looking it up.
I found some pictures online and they're either fruit covered with cookie dough or cookie dough in a tray with fruits buried.
So it's a baked pastry.

On the back, it says "Desserts reimagined" and I took it that they recreated the popular dessert "cobbler."

When I opened the bag, I smelled blueberry flavor and also sweet flavor from soft cookies.
Personally, soft cookies have different scent from crispy cookies.

It's about 10cm in diameter, and the cookie was soft and moist so that while I was holding it with 2 fingers, the cookie started losing its balance and tearing.

It contained a lot of blueberries in a piece of cookie, and fine coarse sugars were sprinkled.

I tasted different sweetness besides blueberry but not from sugar.
When I checked the ingredients list, pumpkin was listed after blueberry.
The unique sweet flavor was from pumpkin.

It's no sugary and tasted quite good.

旦那がペパリッジファームの新しい限定クッキー「ブルーベリー コブラー」を買ってきてくれた。

このクッキーを手に取るまで、コブラーが何を意味するか分からなかったので調べてみた。

画像を見るとパイのような焼き菓子で、フルーツの上にクッキー生地が乗っているか、

クッキー生地に果物が埋められているような画像が出て来た。

裏面には「再考したデザート」と書かれていたので、ペパリッジファームがコブラーというデザートを

新しい物に作り変えたという事を表しているのかもしれない。

開封すると、ブルーベリーの香りとソフトクッキーの甘い香りがした。

ソフトクッキーはサクサクのクッキーと違った甘さの香りがすると個人的に思う。

直径10センチほどの柔らかくしっとりしたクッキーで、2本の指で持ってる間にバランスが崩れ、

裂け目が入り崩れた。

1枚のクッキーに沢山のブルーベリーが入っていて、細かいざらめ糖がまぶしてあった。
砂糖ではないブルーベリー以外の甘さを感じたので原材料を見てみると、南瓜がブルーベリーの
次に記載されていた。
クッキーにあった独特の甘い風味は南瓜から出ていたものだと分かった。

砂糖まみれの味ではなく、美味しかった。
