McDonald's Happy Set Meat Sauce Burger
マクドナルドのハッピーセット ミートソースバーガー

McDonald's Japan launched a new burger on April 18, 2014 called "Meat Sauce Burger" for a limited time.
Though it's said it'd be available till the middle of May, I could get it on May 26 easily.
Items I've reviewed from McDonald's Japan is the following.
Chicken Tatsuta Wafu Oroshi
Cheese Potato Dip
McChurros and McShake
McChurros and McFlurry
Meat Sauce Burger has a beef 100% patty, white cheddar cheese and meat sauce.
Meat sauce is made with sauteed beef, onion, carrots with tomato and added corns.
Meat Sauce Burger itself is for 195 yen (tax incl.) and Happy Set ("Happy Meal" in English) is 530 yen (tax incl.).
I chose Happy Set and also I got french fries as a side --- you can choose sweet corn also.
Recently McDonald's Japan announced that they'd serve Happy Set in a special box called "Happy Set Box" which is already carried out in the states, Europe and Asia.
The toy in the middle was given as a part of Happy Set.
In the box, there're a Meat Sauce Burger, Small fries and a paper napkin.
On the wrap, there're photos of corns, a beef patty and tomato sauce with a wooden spatula.
It looked like a Cheese Burger but the cheese is much whiter.
The meat sauce was sweet and sour from the vegetables they used.
There're more corns than I thought of in the sauce.
I didn't see or taste any sauteed beef in the sauce though.
White cheddar cheese had less cheesy flavor than the regular yellow cheese McDonald's uses.
Buns and the beef patty were the same as other regular menus.
The meat sauce was pretty sweet so that some would like it but others wouldn't.
日本マクドナルドは2014年4月18日に「ミートソースバーガー」を期間限定で発売した。
5月中旬まで販売していると書いてあったけれど、5月26日にも買うことができた。

ミートソースバーガーは、牛100%のパティ、ホワイトチェダーチーズ、ミートソースが挟まれている。
ミートソースは炒めた牛肉、タマネギ、ニンジンをトマトと煮込み、コーンを加えたソース。
単品は195円、ハッピーセットは530円。
私はハッピーセットのポテトを選んだ（スイートコーンも選択可能）。
最近になって日本マクドナルドはハッピーセットを、アメリカや欧州、アジアで既に展開されている
「ハッピーセットボックス」に入れて提供すると発表した。
箱の中にはミートソースバーガー、ポテト（Sサイズ）、紙ナプキン1枚が入っていた。
包み紙には、コーン、ビーフパティ、トマトソースと木のしゃもじの写真が載っていた。
バーガーの見た目はチーズバーガーのようだったけれど、チーズはもっと白かった。
ミートソースは野菜の甘味と酸味があり、思っていたよりもコーンが沢山入っていた。
炒めた牛肉入りとのことだったけれど、ソースの中にお肉らしきものは見えず、味もしなかった。
ホワイトチェダーチーズは、マクドナルドが通常使う黄色いチーズに比べて主張のない味。
バンズとビーフパティは通常メニューと同じものだった。
甘いミートソースで好き嫌いが分かれそう。
