On the way to Six Flags in New Jersey, we stopped by at a McDonald's which is right before the entrance of the park.
I found something interesting there, and one of them is "Mozzarella Sticks."
It's my first time to see them selling the item, so we decided to try.

The reason I knew that they're selling was not because there's an ad like the photo I took, but it's because the a printed material on the counter.

It's so simple but powerful enough to get my attention, and personally I felt like this "advertisement" was standing out from those with photos.

This is the box of Mozzarella Sticks.
At the bottom of the top, it says, "Made with real mozzarella."

And the front part says, "It's fun to dip."

This is the side; "Dip into our tasty marinara sauce."

These are the marinara sauce, and the reason we got 2 is that they forgot to put them into the bag, so I think they just gave 2 to my husband when he asked for the sauce.

The sauce was deep red and I saw some leaves, but not sure if they're oregano as the lid only says "spices."

Mozzarella sticks looked good, and they're rightly brown with some parsley on.

Each piece was about the same length of my middle finger, which is about 8cm (3.1 inch).

I forgot to take the inside, but the outer side of the mozzarella stick was melted but the core was still firm.
So it's not really a melty or stringy mozzarella stick that I'd expected.

The breading contained some garlic and flavorful.
The marinara sauce was actually quite good with sourness, sweetness and oregano flavor.
All 3 mozzarella sticks took 2 bites each to finish, and we dipped every time we ate it, but almost half of the sauce was left in the end.
Though the center was still hard, it's enjoyable for the price.

ニュージャージー州のシックスフラッグス（遊園地）の入り口手前にあるマクドナルドに
入った所、今まで見たことがない「モッツァレラスティック」が販売されていたので
食べてみることにした。
* モッツァレラスティックは、モッツァレラチーズを棒状に切り、パン粉を付けて揚げた
もので、アペタイザーによくある料理。

モッツァレラスティックの存在に気がついたのは、1番上の写真（私が撮影したもの）が
貼ってあったからではなく、文字だけの印刷物がレジに貼られていたからで、その紙には
「モッツァレラスティック 3本入り。1ドル。24時間販売中。」とのみ記載されていた。
他の写真付きの商品に比べて、この文字だけの「広告」は個人的には力強く感じ、すぐに
目がいった。

箱の蓋部分には「本物のモッツァレラチーズを使っています」と書かれていて、正面には
「ディップして楽しんで」と記載されていた。
横には「私たちの美味しいマリナラソースに付けてください」と書かれていた。

紙袋にマリナラソースが入っていなかったので、旦那がもらいに行くと2個くれた。
* マリナラソースは、トマト、ニンニク、オリーブオイル、オレガノなどが入ったソース。
ソースは濃い赤色で細かい葉が入っていたけれど、蓋には「スパイス」とだけ書かれて
いたため、オレガノかどうかは不明。

モッツァレラスティックは薄くきつね色に上がっていて、パン粉にはパセリが混ざって
いた。
各モッツァレラスティックの長さは私の中指と同じくらいの長さで、約8センチだった。
スティックの内側の写真を撮るのを忘れてしまったけれど、外側に近い部分はとろけて
いたものの、中心は固いままだった。
モッツァレラスティックと見て中まで柔らかく、チーズが伸びる、一般的なものを想像
していたけれど、期待とは少し違ったものだった。
パン粉にはニンニクが入っていたのか風味が良かった。
マリナラソースは酸味、甘み、オレガノの風味があり、かなり美味しかった。
3本とも2口ほどで食べきれるサイズで食べるたびにソースを付けたけれど、1カップでも
半分以上ソースが残っていた。
中心が固かったけれど、この値段にしては満足のいく味だった。
