Rudolph Pancake Breakfast From Denny's

We learned that Denny's launched "Taste of the Holidays" menu on October 13, 2015 and we went to the branch in Manhattan the other day.
We tried Rudolph Pancake Breakfast, Pumpkin Pecan Pie Pancake Breakfast, Holiday Harvest Skillet and Santa's Milk & Cookie Shake, and they're available till January 3, 2016 with other special dishes.
As always it has been, it's very slow though it's not busy.
No one came to take our order for 15 minutes, and it took the 30 minutes to bring food...
Rudolph Pancake Breakfast
It comes with 2 pancakes topped with turkey bacon antlers, whipped cream, chocolate eyes and nose, served with two eggs and crispy hash browns.
The whipped cream was melted and this creature looked horrific.
The image shown on the menu had much smaller face (larger pancake) so that the eyes were larger and cuter, but this one, it's like a swollen face with itty bitty antlers.
Without turkey bacon antlers, it even looked weird.
I'm no a fan of turkey bacon as I didn't grow up with it and I'm not used to the tender and rubbery texture.
The pancakes were fluffy and it's about 1.5cm (0.6 inch) tall.
Hash browns were crispy outside and egg white scrambled eggs was chewy and tasty.

Rudolph Pancake Breakfast
I got all egg white scrambled egg as I could choose how it cooked.
When they're served, I was in shock to see such a huge and monster-looking Rudolph as the image on the menu and board outside looked much cuter and smaller.
Even a staff said it's an overweight Rudolph.

デニーズが「テイスト オブ ホリデーズ」を2015年10月13日に発売したと知り、この前
マンハッタンの店舗に行ってきた。
ルドルフ パンケーキ ブレックファスト、パンプキン ピーカンパイ パンケーキ ブレック
ファスト、ホリデー ハーベスト スキレット、サンタのミルク&クッキーシェイクを食べて
来た。
他の特別メニューとともに、2016年1月3日まで販売されている。
* ルドルフは赤鼻のトナカイ
毎度のように、この店舗は混んでいないのにとても遅い。
注文をするのに15分待ち、料理が出てくるまでに30分もかかった。
ルドルフ パンケーキ ブレックファストはパンケーキ2枚にターキーベーコンの枝角、
チョコレートの目と鼻がついていて、卵2個とハッシュポテトが含まれる。
卵は自分の好きな焼き方を選べるので、白身で作ったスクランブルエッグにした。
メニューや外の看板に載っていた写真はもっとかわいく小さかったのに、出されたものは
かなり大きく、怪物のようなルドルフで、店員も「太り過ぎのルドルフだね」と言って
いたほどだった。
生クリームが溶けて恐ろしい生き物になっていた。
メニューを見ると、顔の部分（大きな方のパンケーキ）はもっと小さいため、目が大きく
かわいかったけれど、これはむくんだ顔に極小の枝角が付いているようだった。
ターキーベーコンの角を取ると、さらに奇妙な顔になった。
私はターキーベーコンを食べる習慣がなかったので、柔らかくゴムっぽい食感のターキー
ベーコンの食感も味もあまり好きではない。
パンケーキはふんわりし、厚みは1.5センチほどあった。
ハッシュポテトは周りがカリッとしていて、白身はぷりぷりで美味しかった。
