The Brunch Restaurant Called "Good Enough To Eat" Was Literally That Level

(Japanese follows. /

Since I moved to NY, I started searching where I can have good pancakes besides French toasts and waffles.
And I narrowed the location and found a bunch of diners, brunch restaurants, and cafes where seem to have good reviews.

Today, we decided to try one of them called "good enough to eat" (no capital letters and everything is in lower-case.)
As we just came up with an idea to go there this morning, we didn't make reservation and just went there.

We got there around 12:15PM, saw a line of people, and waited for over 30 minutes.
While waiting, the owner and a waitress kept coming back and forth to count the customers and as soon as tables were open and cleaned, they let customers come in.
However, the owner or the waitress didn't let the people in with the correct order.
They let those who were adequate for the open table; for example, if there's a free table for a group of 4, they skipped the less numbers and people who were lining up from earlier and longer had to wait longer.
It makes sense the way they did, but the owner and the waitress should have asked customers beforehand as some ended up being overtaken the table without the explanation like, "Is it ok to let this group go ahead? Thank you for your cooperation."
I'm sure if they had thought what the customers in the line would feel, they could have said something to all of us and less people would have complained even before going to the restaurant.

Inside of the restaurant was busy and loud so this place isn't suitable for the time if you'd like to enjoy brunch at a quiet space.
We sat at a table and waited for a while but nobody came to take our order.
When a Mexican guy brought us water and my husband said we're ready to order, he didn't say anything so we assume he doesn't understand English?
I raised my hand high but nobody seemed to have noticed or cared, so I had to tell the waitress who led us to the table that we're ready to order and she said there'd be someone shortly.
But, for a couple of minutes we had to wait more.

My husband ordered "Good Enough to Eat Pancake" and Diet Coke.
I ordered "Good Enough to Eat Waffle."

His coke was served pretty quickly and had a slice of lime on it.
And I grabbed lime into my water but I saw weird oily stuff appeared on the surface of the water.
I think they didn't rinse the wax off from the peel so I put the water away and drank the other water.

Waffles
On the menu, it said 2 waffles served with orange butter, so having 2 types of butters were weird (another one was strawberry butter).
Seeing 4 slices of waffle was surprising to me but waffle is made on a circle pan so that 1 slice has 4 sections, thus in the end it made sense to me why I had 4 slices, which are actually 2 slices.
The outside was crispy and inside was moist, and the waffles were a little bit hard.
The waffles themselves didn't have much flavor in it.

Personally, I liked orange butter more as it's rich but refreshing.
Strawberry was sweet and sour and of course it wasn't bad but with orange butter, I could enjoy the waffle more.

Pancakes
As it's not using butter milk, it wasn't salty and it's not too tall, soft, and light.
But didn't have any flavor in it; no butter, no egg, or anything.

I don't know if they're taking reservation or not, but to be honest, I don't think the taste or quality wasn't anything surprising and it's not worth waiting for 30 minutes in the wind and rain.
The price was decent, at least.
The service is needless to say 1 out of 5, which I compromised and they barely got 1 even.
