While I was in school, my husband sent me an e-mail about "free waffle" by Google today.
The tweet didn't really same much but come and find out what it was about.

Today, July 31, was at 15th and 8th Avenue till 2 PM, so I took a subway to see what the event would be like.

I got there around 1:40 PM or so, and there're about 10 people before me, and no instruction while waiting.

And I realized that the food truck was one of my favorite ones, Wafels & Dinges.

When my turn was up, a staff gave me an instruction.

1. The machine shows a word.

2. You have to search a photo which YOU took, not an image search on internet, in 20 seconds.

3. If you can show the photo to the staff, you can get a large waffle. (If not, you get a small one.)

My "Find your best photo of" was "brunch," and I went to my photo album and found a photo of grilled cheese, and I could hardly make it, like 1 second left.

That was fast.

You obviously know how to find a photo when you need it. All that fancy thumbwork deserves a delicious reward. Enjoy!

When I proceeded to the truck, they asked me if I wanted to have cookie paste and cream, so I asked for both.

It's basically a De Throwdown Wafel that I had before, and as usual, it's served warm.

The back of the inner side says, "SHARE THE TASTE OF VICTORY."
And below, it instructed to post a photo with "PayWithAPhoto" and I sure did.

The outside was crispy and the inside was soft.

It's a fun event that I could even get a tasty waffle for gratis!

Also, I learned that to find a specific photo in my album wasn't that easy when there're thousands of photos.

学校にいる間、グーグルの「無料ワッフル」のイベントについて旦那からEメールが

送られてきた。

Twitterには詳細は記載されておらず、「見に来て」とだけ書かれていた。

今日7月31日は8番通り15丁目に14時まで行われているとのことで、地下鉄に乗って行って

きた。

13時40分頃到着すると、私の前には10人程度並んでいて、待っている間に特に説明は

なかった。

また、ワッフルを提供しているのは私の好きなWafels & Dingesだった。

私の番が来ると、スタッフが説明してくれた。

1. 機械がお題を選択

2. 20秒以内に自分が撮影した写真からお題に合うものを探す（ネットの画像検索は不可）

3. スタッフに写真を見せることができれば、大きなワッフルがもらえる（できなかった

場合もミニワッフルがもらえる）

私に出されたお題は「ブランチ」で、スマートフォンのフォトアルバムへ行き、グリルド

チーズの写真を残り1秒というギリギリの所で見せることができた。

ワッフルの箱に「素早く写真を見つけることができたので、ご褒美に美味しいワッフルを

召し上がれ！」という内容が書かれていた。

注文カウンターへ行くと、クッキーペーストと生クリームを乗せるか聞かれたので、両方

お願いした。

また、トラックや箱には「グーグルフォト 写真を素早く見つける」というフレーズが

載っていた。

出されたものは以前食べたスローダウン ワッフルで、いつも通り温かい状態で出された。

外側はカリッとし、内側はふっくらしていた。

箱の内側に「勝利の味をシェアしよう」と書かれていて、ハッシュタグ #PayWithAPhotoを

付けてインスタグラム等に投稿した。

無料で美味しいワッフルが食べられる、面白いイベントだった。

また、何千枚もある写真の中から特定の1枚を探すのは難しいと気づくことができた。
