After school, I saw "Schnitzel & Things" was parking near the school and I decided to get a lunch from the truck.
I've been following the truck on Twitter for about 6 months now, and I finally could try the cutlet.
I got there around 1:15 PM and there're about 5 people before me and 10 people were waiting for their food.
Menu
I ordered "Chicken Schnitzel Platter" that comes with 2 sides of your choice, and I got Yukon Gold French Fries and Chickpea Salad at 1:31 PM.
My food came out at 1:43 PM and they asked me if I wanted any sauce or ketchup, but I got the plate without any condiment.
The chicken schnitzel was so large and golden brown.
It larger than my hand, which is 19cm (7.5 inch).
It's a thinned whole breast meat, and the fine breading was so crispy and the chicken was moist.
I only got a fork, but the chicken had a manageable thinness to work on without a knife.
I think the breading had some seasoning like salt and pepper, but it's very plain, which I kind of liked it.
However, if you prefer flavorful schnitzel or sauce on the cutlet, I'd recommend you ask for some condiments.
After eating a half of the gigantic schnitzel, I squeezed some lemon to make it a bit refreshing.
Chickpea Salad
There're lots of chickpeas with cucumbers and maybe onions? --- the thin pieces were skins of chickpeas.
It had sour flavor similar to pickled olives.
Yukon Gold French Fries
I thought this kind of potato was much yellower, but these looked like a regular potato fries as they're pale.
Many were soggy due to the dressing of the chickpea salad.
While waiting, I heard some customers were complaining that it'd been 10 minutes though they'd been told to wait for 5 minutes.
Mine took them more than 10 minutes, too, though they didn't tell me the waiting time so I wasn't offended at all.
However, 10 minutes to wait for a truck food seemed long enough to get upset as many would think it's supposed to be a quick-service business category.

授業の後、学校の近くに「シュニッツェル&シングス」が止まっていると知り、お昼ご飯を
買うことにした。
半年近くTwitterでフォローしていたフードトラックで、やっと食べることができた。
13時15分頃にトラックに着くと、5人ほどが注文待ちをしていて、10人が商品を待って
いた。
私は「チキン シュニッツェル プラッター」を注文し、好きなサイドを2種類選べたので
ユーコンゴールド フライドポテトとヒヨコ豆のサラダを13時31分に注文。
13時43分に商品が出来上がり、ソースやケチャップ等が必要か聞かれたけれど、特に何も
もらわずに商品を受け取った。
19センチある手よりもずっと大きい鶏肉は、きつね色に揚がっていた。
鶏胸肉が薄く伸ばされていて、細かいパン粉はとてもサクサクし、鶏肉はしっとりして
いた。
フォークだけで食べたけれど、鶏肉は薄かったのでナイフがなくても食べられた。
パン粉に少し塩胡椒が入っていたと思うけれど、全体的にかなりプレーンなカツだった。
ただ、私は薄味で美味しかったと思う。
もし味がしっかりしたシュニッツェルやソースが好きなら、調味料をもらうのがお勧め。
この巨大はシュニッツェルを半分ほど食べたところで、レモンを絞ってあっさりした味を
楽しんだ。
ヒヨコ豆のサラダ
沢山のヒヨコ豆とキュウリ、タマネギも入っていたと思う。（薄い物はヒヨコ豆の皮）
オリーブのピクルスのような酸味があった。
ユーコンゴールド フライドポテト
ユーコンゴールドはもっと黄色が強いと思っていたけれど、かなり薄い色だったので
普通のジャガイモのように見えた。
ポテトの多くはヒヨコ豆のサラダのドレッシングでぐっしょりしていた。
待っている間、お客さんが「5分で商品が出来上がると言われたのに、もう10分も待って
いる」と怒っていた。
私の注文したものは10分以上かかったものの、待ち時間を言われなかったので特に何とも
思わなかった。
ただ、フードトラック＝商品を素早く提供する業態という印象があるので、調理時間が
10分以上かかるのは確かに遅いと思った。
