ニューヘイヴンのフランクペペ ピッツェリア ナポリターナ

Before we went to apple and pumpkin picking, we drove to New Haven to try Sally's Apizza, but on Saturdays, they open at 3 PM so we went to Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana that was on the same Wooster st. and about 3 minutes away on foot.
We've been to a branch in Mohegan Sun, a casino, but this is the original location.
Apparently, this mini spot is called "The Spot," and it's in a parking lot next to the larger restaurant.
Finally a male employee came and took our order, which was the "Original Tomato Pie with Mozzarella" with half pepperoni topping.
The pizza was subtly less expensive than the one in Mohegan Sun.

When the server brought drinks, I asked him about the difference of the buildings, and he said reluctantly, "No difference" without any subject, verb or even interjectional expressions (like oh, well or ah).

The Original Tomato Pie with Mozzarella with half pepperoni topping was brought, and it's medium size.
The blackened edges were fragrant though they looked burnt.
Pepperoni slices were small and thick like sliced sausages.
Cheese side looked cheesier than Mohegan Sun branch, which I mean more cheese covering the tomato sauce and couldn't see the reddish color well.
And not only the pepperoni side, but also the cheese side looked greasy as if they put some oil over the top.
I'm so used to thinner, larger, and brighter red pepperoni, so these looked a bit different from what I had expected.
On the bottom, it's powdery and had some brown spots baked in the brick oven.
It's SUPER greasy.
The orange oil from pepperoni kept dripping.
Pepperoni side was very salty and oily.
Cheese side was also greasy as it looked.
I have no idea why this time the pizza was full of oil.
The crust was thicker than the one served at Mohegan Sun, and the crispy bottom was good and fragrant, but the crust was like bread.
We thought they used a dough for large and just stretched it into a medium size, which left the dough thicker but adequate size.
We waited for about 10 minutes before seating, 10 minutes to have our server come to our table, and 20 minutes to get out pizza.
However, the service was I'd say bad, unwelcoming, and they're in "I don't give sh*t to the customers" attitude.
One of the reasons the line gets long besides the slow service is that there're some people who never leave even after finishing the pizzas.
There're some Yalies sitting there with a leftover cold pizzas and chugging beer talking loud.
It's like "Birds of a feather flock together."

フランクペペ ピッツェリア ナポリターナに行ってきた。
以前、カジノのモヒーガンサンの店舗に行ったことがあるけれど、ここが元祖の店舗。
建物が2個あったけれど、小さめで列の短い方に並んだ。
この小さな方は「スポット」と呼ばれる店舗で、大きなお店の隣にある駐車場の中に
建っていた。

列に並ぶと、私たち(4人組み)の前には8人ほどがいた。

着席。
入り口の近くには「ウースター通り」と書かれた標識があり、これは元祖店舗が並ぶ
通りの名前。
店内にあったボードに「元祖店舗の立地場所 1925〜1938」と書かれていたので、もしか
したらこの小さい店舗がオリジナルで、大きなお店が拡張したものなのかも?
