Domino's Specialty Chicken "Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple"

My husband (or a friend of his) found an article about Domino's in U.S. launched a new menu line called "Specialty Chicken" with 4 flavors on April 14, 2014.
The item uses white meat as a crust and put some sauce, cheese and toppings.
It's available in Domino's 5.99 US dollars mix-and-match value offer which you can select pastas, sandwiches and medium size two-topping pizzas.
While I was cleaning up the room after unpacking and putting things away, I realized I hadn't eaten anything but some chocolate and a rice cracker all day and I was definitely hungry.
And my husband ordered a pizza and Specialty Chicken "Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple" for me.
Like when I had Wisconsin 6 Cheese Pizza, he's in Montreal and went on the US Domino's site and placed an order to deliver to me in NYC.
The reason I chose Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple over Crispy Bacon & Tomato, Classic Hot Buffalo and Sweet BBQ Bacon is I love spicy food and wanted to try a unique combination of sweet and spicy.
The box was about a half size of that of medium size pizza.
On the front, there're Oven Baked Sandwiches' drawings.
On the back, there's an ad about Specialty Chicken.
This is the actual product.
I saw burnt cheese on the edges, but on the webpage, it looked the same so I guess it comes like this.
I wish the cheese wasn't dark brown or black so that it'd have been crispy and tasty.
This is a piece of white meat.
There're 12 pieces of lightly breaded white meat covered with mango-habanero sauce, mozzarella and cheddar, jalapeno and pineapple.
Details.
I grabbed a chicken with cheese, sauce, jalapeno and pineapple were on.
Mango-Habanero sauce was sweet and spicy, but sweetness was stronger than spiciness.
And the texture was very sticky like jam.
Jalapeno was spicy as always but with pineapple, it didn't taste that hot.
Cheese was covering the chicken, so the inside was moist but the breading was instead a little bit soggy.
First I thought it'd be fried chicken but it's not fried but grilled in the oven with fine breading.
It uses breast meat instead of pizza crust, so it's low in carbs but high in protein, and I think it contains less calories and fat than a pizza as it's smaller.
This is the medium size pizza; pepperoni and green pepper & olive.
5.99 dollars for this is not that cheap but being able to order with a pizza in mix-and-match for the same price (total 5.99 x 2 = 11.98 + tax + delivery fee + tip = 17 dollars) isn't that bad I think.
If you want some chicken but not chicken nuggets, this would be a good option.

旦那（もしくは旦那の友人の1人）が、米国のドミノピザが新メニュー「スペシャルティ
チキン」を4種類2014年4月14日に発売したという記事を見つけた。
このメニューはクラストの代わりに鶏胸肉を使い、ソースやチーズ、その他トッピングを
乗せたもの。
ドミノにあるミックス・アンド・マッチというカテゴリーがあり、パスタ、サンド
イッチ、Mサイズピザ（トッピングを2種類選択可）と組み合わせて注文することが
できる。
このスペシャルティチキンもこのカテゴリーに加えられ、各5.99 USドル。
荷解きと収納を終えて部屋の掃除をしていた時、その日はチョコレートをいくつかと
お煎餅を1枚しか食べていないと気がつき、ものすごくお腹が空いていた。
そこで旦那がピザとスペシャルティチキンの「スパイシーハラペーニョパイナップル」を
注文してくれた。
以前ウィスコンシン 6 チーズピザを食べた時と同じく、モントリオールにいた旦那が
インターネットで米国のドミノピザにアクセスし、デリバリー先を私がいるニューヨーク
市内に設定して注文してくれた。
私が選んだ「スパイシーハラペーニョ−パイナップル」の他に、クリスピーベーコン&
トマト、クラシックホットバッファロー、スイートBBQベーコンがあったけれど、
辛い食べ物が好きなのと、甘辛い組み合わせを食べてみたかったので「スパイシー 〜」に
した。
スペシャルティチキンの箱はMサイズピザの半分ほどの大きさで、正面にはドミノピザの
サンドイッチの絵があり、背面にはスペシャルティチキンの宣伝が載っていた。
周りに付いていたチーズは黒く焦げていたけれど、ホームページの写真も黒くなった
チーズが載っていたので、こういうものなのだろう。
カリカリに焼けたチーズは美味しいので、ここまで茶色く黒くなければ良かった。
鶏肉は全て胸肉で、薄く衣が付いていた。
鶏胸肉を土台にし、マンゴー&ハバネロソース、モッツァレラ、チェダー、ハラペーニョ、
パイナップルが乗っている。
マンゴー&ハバネロソースは甘さと辛さがあったけれど、辛さよりも甘さが強かった。
また、ジャムのような質感でベタベタしていた。
ハラペーニョは辛かったけれど、パイナップルがあったのでそれほど辛さは感じられず。
鶏肉はチーズに覆われていたのでお肉はしっとりとしていたけれど、衣にサクサク感は
なくぐしょっとしていた。
最初はフライドチキンが使われているかと思ったけれど、細かい衣の付いたグリルチキン
だった。
ピザクラストの代わりに鶏胸肉を使っているので、低炭水化物で高タンパク質、また
ピザよりも小さいので多少脂肪分、カロリーも少ないと思う。
ちなみに、ピザのトッピングはペパロニとピーマン&オリーブ。
これに5.99ドルは安いとは思わないけれど、ミックス・アンド・マッチにあるピザと
一緒に注文して合計17ドルはお得だと思う。
（5.99ドル x 2種類 + 税金 + 配達量 + チップ = 17ドル）
チキンナゲット以外に何か食べたい時に良いと思う。
