Alaskan Cod Classic From Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings serves Alaskan Cod Classic for a limited time, and it's our first time to see fish sandwich on the menu at BWW, but given that it's Lent, they might have had this sandwich before, too.
Lent is a religious observance that begins on Ash Wednesday and lasts about 6 weeks, before Easter Sunday comes.
And during this period, many Christians fast and abstain meat, eggs and dairy products.
Alaskan Cod Classic is "a breaded, wild-caught Alaskan cod filet, with fresh veggies, melted American cheese, and a house-made tartar sauce, on a toasted brioche bun."
We asked for tartar sauce on the side, but the sauce was on the sandwich.
However, the sauce was only partially put luckily so that I decided to eat it as it was.
Different from the image, tartar sauce wasn't put under the upper bun but under the fried cod.
The cod was as long as my hand; 18cm (7.08 inch).
This sandwich has crispiness of the crust, softness of the brioche, crunchiness of the vegetables and the thick sliced pickles had nice bite.
The cod was moist and soft, and lightly seasoned with salt.
I wish this item was regular menu because it's quite good.

バッファローワイルドウィンスでは期間限定でアラスカ コッド クラシックが提供されて
いて、BWWでフィッシュサンドイッチを見たのは初めてだけれど、レント（四旬節）の
時期だと考えると以前にも販売されたことがあるかもしれない。
レント（四旬節）は宗教的行事で、アッシュウェンズデー（灰の水曜日）から約6週間、
イースターの日曜日まで続く。
また、この期間中は多くのキリスト教信者が断食をしたり、肉、卵、乳製品を含まない
食事をしたりする。
アラスカ コッド クラシックは「天然のタラ、新鮮な野菜、溶けたアメリカンチーズ、
自家製のタルタルソースをトーストしたブリオッシュに乗せて」あるもの。
私はマヨネーズが嫌いなのでタルタルソースを別添えでお願いしたけれど、ソースが
挟まれた状態で出された。
かかっていない部分が多少あったので、そのまま食べることにした。
イメージ画像とは異なり、タルタルソースは上部のバンズではなく、タラのフライの下に
あった。
タラは私の手と同じくらいの長さがあり、18センチほどで大きかった。
衣はサクッとし、ブリオッシュはふかふかで、野菜はシャキシャキしていてピクルスの
パリッとした食感も良かった。
タラはしっとりとして柔らかく、軽く塩で味付けされていた。
このメニューが通常メニューになったら良いと思うほど美味しかった。
