Zesty Citrus From Buffalo Wild Wings

We saw Buffalo Wild Wings was introducing a new limited time sauce called "Zesty Citrus" from December 14, 2015, and it uses Mountain Dew in the sauce so we went to the Times Square branch on the launching day as it's only available for 3 weeks.
However, the staffs didn't know about it and we couldn't get it even though it's written in the press release.
Today, December 19, my husband called the restaurant to see if they've got the sauce ready, the staff said yes and we went there.
And to make sure, we asked the hostess if they had Zesty Citrus, and she said, "I dunno" with the gesture and added only Mayan Midnight Mole was served by pointing at a leaflet.
My husband explained the phone conversation to her and she called the manager and confirmed the sauce was available.
(At this point, I was quite nervous if they really had it and I have no idea why those staffs didn't know about the new sauce.)
Once we're seated, we looked though the menu but NOTHING was written about Zesty Citrus.
We ordered a snack size boneless Zesty Citrus anyway, and the staff took the order to the kitchen but came back to say the sauce didn't exist.
Again, my husband had to explain that the manager had confirmed the new sauce.
(Seriously, what's going on at this branch!?!?!? I think they're responsible to learn new products....)
To make things worse, one of the knives was dirty; dried up sauce was stuck.
Finally, finally, finally we got the long-awaited Zesty Citrus, which is a mix of lemongrass, ginger, soy sauce, red peppers and Mountain Dew.
It smelled like sweet and citrus flavored Mountain Dew, and it's very awkward to smell the soda with chicken.
I thought the green bits were parsley but maybe it's lemongrass?
It had sweet and lime-ish citrus flavor, refreshing scent of lemongrass and a hint of kick at the end.
The sauce was salty and as it uses soy sauce, it tasted like Ponzu, citrus-based soy sauce.
The receipt says "Zesty Citrus," which indicates that the data had been already in the system and all the staffs had better know about the sauce.

バッファローワイルドウィングスが3週間限定で新ソース「ゼスティー シトラス」を発売
すると知り、発売日の2015年12月14日にタイムズスクエアの店舗に行ってきた。
ところがプレスにも記載されているのに店員はそのソースの存在を知らず、食べることが
出来なかった。
今日、12月19日に旦那が店舗に電話してソースがあるか確認したところ、販売を開始した
と言っていたのでお店に行った。
念には念をと思い、受付でゼスティー シトラスがあるか確認すると、「さぁ」と言って
「分からない」というジェスチャーをし、リーフレットを指差しながら「マヤ ミッド
ナイト モレ」しかないと言っていた。
そこで旦那が電話でのやりとりを伝えると、マネージャーを呼んで確認し、ソースが
あると言っていた。
（この時点で本当にあるのか不安になった。なぜ新商品のソースを店員が知らないのか
意味が分からない）
席に着いてメニューに目を通したけれど、ゼスティー シトラスについて全く何も書かれて
いなかった。
とりあえず店員いスナックサイズのボンレスウィングでゼスティー シトラスを頼んだ。
すると、キッチンから店員が戻って来て、このソースが存在しないと言ってきた。
旦那が「マネージャーに確認したらあると言っていましたが」と伝えた。
（この店舗の教育が信じられない。スタッフは新商品について知っているべきだと思う）
さらに驚いたことに、ナイフに乾いたソースがこびりついていて気持ちが悪かった。
どのレストランでも私は使う前に食器を確認するクセがついているのは、こういうことが
あるため。
やっとゼスティー シトラスが出された。
このソースはレモングラス、生姜、醤油、唐辛子、マウンテンデューが混ざっている。
マウンテンデューの甘く柑橘系の香りがし、ソーダの香りがするチキンはかなり奇妙
だった。
緑の点々はパセリかと思ったけれど、レモングラスだったのかもしれない。
甘くライムに似た味と、レモングラスのさっぱりした香りがあり、最後に少しピリッと
した味がした。
ソースは醤油が入っているので塩辛く、ポン酢に似ていたと思う。
レシートに「ゼスティー シトラス」と載っていた＝既にデータが入力されていたのだと
思うので、店員はこのソースについて知っておいた方が良いと思った。
