From today, June 13, 2016, Buffalo Wild Wings has launched a limited time sauce called "Spicy Strawberry Sriracha."
I knew that this sauce would be available from today specifically when we tried Summer Shandy, and I planned to visit the Times Square branch when it opens at 11 AM.

"Sriracha is fiery, tangy blend of chili powder and garlic. And to up the ante, we added a hint of strawberry."

I tried the sauce with Snack Boneless Wings from Fast Break Lunch menu.

I chose Garden Salad for a side.

Spicy Strawberry Sriracha

Since the plates were served, I could smell sweet, fruity, and weird artificial strawberry scent.

There're fine black dots and small red pieces, and the sauce was transparent pink.

First I tasted sweet flavor similar to strawberry jam, candy or gummy which are all quite sugary and not really taste like real fruit.

And the after taste was garlicky sriracha with a hint of spiciness.

The sweet and sour flavor somehow reminded me of umeboshi, salt pickled plums, with some honey.

Garden Salad
There're tomatoes, red onions and lettuce.

The staff asked me how the sauce was, and I said it's unique and better than Summer Shandy.
She said that the previous day, some customers were interested in and it's the last day of the sauce, and she had to warn them that it's not something everyone liked because she didn't like the weird sauce, which wasn't a shock as we hated it, too.

I wouldn't say this Spicy Strawberry Sriracha was good but it's unique enough to try.

バッファローワイルドウィングスは今日2016年6月13日から、「スパイシーストロベリー

シラチャ」という期間限定ソースを提供している。

サマーシャンディーを食べた時に、この新ソースが登場する日を知ったので、タイムズ
スクエアの店舗が開店する11時にお店に行った。

ファストブレイク ランチのメニューから、スナック ボンレスウィングスを選らんだ。

サイドにはガーデンサラダを選択。

スパイシー ストロベリーシラチャ

料理が出されてからずっと、甘くフルーティーな妙で人工的なイチゴの香りがしていた。

細かい黒の点々、小さな赤い欠片がところどころにあり、ソースは透明なピンク色
だった。

最初はイチゴジャム、飴、グミに似た本物のフルーツではない甘い味がした。
後味はニンニクの香りが効いたシラチャで、少しピリッとした辛味があった。
甘さと酸味があり、ハチミツ漬けの梅干しが頭に浮かんだ。

ガーデンサラダ
トマト、赤タマネギ、レタスなどが入っていた。

スタッフにこのソースがどうだったか聞かれたので、サマーシャンディーよりも食べやす
かったと言った。
昨日はそのソースの最終提供日でお客さんが興味を持っていたようで、彼女は「正直に
言うと、全員が美味しいと思える味ではないです」と言ったらしい。
と言うのも、このスタッフも私たちと同じくこの前のソースが美味しくないと思ったから
だった。

このスパイシー ストロベリーシラチャも美味しいとは言えないけれど、面白い味で
食べてみて良かったと思う。
