While we're in Israel, we saw our friends and they took us to a cafe called Callal Bakery And Cafe.

It's a small space and there're inside and outside seating areas.

There're many kinds of bread and sweets.

These were stored in a refrigerator.

Cheesecake

It's a non-baked cheesecake, which we call rare cheesecake in Japanese.

There're moist crushed cookies at the bottom and on the rim, there's pale color cookie.

The cheesecake was subtly sour and soft, and I enjoyed the refreshing and light flavor.

Fruit Tart

My husband got this fruit tart, and there's a mountain of melon, mango, raspberries, blueberries, and grapes over buttery and crispy tart filled with custard.

The fruits were all fresh and had a great balance of sweetness and sourness.

The custard was soft textured and light.

Rugelach/Chocolate Croissants

They looked like croissants made with chocolate layers.

The surface was glazed with something similar to syrup and it's a little bit sticky.

It's crispy but also rich, squishy, and chewy towards the outside.
Each piece was small but it's quite chocolatey and sweet enough to get satisfied.

Though it's located on a small street, customers were constantly coming in to this bakery.

It's a bit pricey but I think it's worth the trip when you're in the area.

イスラエルで友達に会った時、ダラル ベーカリー アンド カフェに行った。

小さな店舗で店内、店外に席があり、沢山の種類のパンやスイーツが並んでいた。

チーズケーキ
底にはしっとりしたクッキーが敷かれ、縁には淡い色のクッキー生地が付いていた。
少し酸味のあるレアチーズケーキでふんわりとかるく、あっさりした味で美味しかった。

ザ・ライティング ルーム

フルーツタルト

旦那はフルーツタルトを選び、バターの香りが良くサクサクのタルト生地にカスタードが

入っていて、その上にはメロン、マンゴー、ラズベリー、ブルーベリー、ブドウが山の

ように盛られていた。

果物はどれも新鮮で甘さと酸味のバランスがよく、あっさりとした柔らかいカスタードで

美味しかった。

ルゲラー/チョコレートクロワッサン

ルゲラーまたはルゲラックというチョコレート生地を重ねたクロワッサンのようだった。

表面には艶だしのシロップらしきものが塗られていて、少しベトベトしていた。

サクサクしているのと同時に濃厚でグニャっとし、外側に行くに連れてベタッとした。

小さいものの、1個で十分なほどチョコレートの味が濃く甘さも強かった。

細い道に面しているにもかかわらず、絶えずお客さんが入ってきた。

少し割高な気もするけれど、近くにいれば行って損はないと思う。
