Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill In Austin

While we're staying at DoubleTree by Hilton on Interstate Highway 35 in Austin, we decided to get something to eat at Denny's.
On the way to Denny's, there's a bus decorated with a gigantic photos of bikini waitresses and it caught our eyes, and we decided to go to Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill instead of Denny's.
I'm a kind of person who is willing to go to Hooters, so going to a restaurant with exposed uniforms wouldn't hold me back.
I wasn't sure if they're really in bikinis or only for the advertisement, but they sure were wearing bikinis.
I didn't take a photo of them but they had bikini tops, short jeans, and cowboy boots like the image on the ketchup.
It's my first time to see "Tabasco Buffalo."
Soon a waitress brought us menus.
Same as Hooters, she wrote her name on a paper napkin and explained menus by sitting at a vacant chair at our table.
The waitress brought us drinks very fast, and we ordered Fried Mac & Cheese as an appetizer from Warm Ups section.
Fried Mac & Cheese
5 pieces topped with some scallions were served with cilantro ranch sauce.
The waitress said that during the daytime, these fried mac & cheese balls come out nicer than night as they're crispy, light, and just right brown color on the outside.
The breaded outside was really crispy.
The mac & cheese inside was hot and cheese was stringy.
For a main, I chose "Chicken Fried Chicken" which was on Main Event and also Lunch Specials.
* From 11 AM ~ 2 PM, they offer it for 7.99 instead of 12.99 dollars, but our bill was regular price; it might be because we placed our order just before 2 PM.
Chicken Fried Chicken
It's a lightly breaded chicken breast with pepper gravy with mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and grilled Texas toast.
Fried chicken was covered in white gravy sauce with paprika powder.
The breading was crunchy and had a very good seasonings, and the gravy sauce was creamy.
The white meat was moist.
Mixed vegetables were broccolis, red pepper and green beans.
There're yellow vegetables which were similar to carrots but bright yellow.
Mashed potatoes were half smooth and half chunky, and the pinkish objects were potato skins, not bacons.
I put some Tabasco Buffalo, and it had hot and sour flavor as regular Tabasco and a little smoky flavor in the end.
Texas toasts were thinner than Texas toast I know like from Dunkin' Donuts.
I don't think it's buttered.
The waitress was very talkative, helpful and came by to use to check on drinks and foods.
When my husband said it's my first time to try fried chicken with gravy sauce, she looked pretty surprised and asked me where I was from with curiosity but never sounded condescending.
When we're debating if we should get a fried cheesecake, she said it's not that large so we decided to get one.
She asked me if I like caramel or chocolate sauce, so I said both.
Fried Cheesecake
Cheesecake is wrapped in flour tortillas and fried, and sugar and cinnamon are sprinkled.
They put both caramel and chocolate sauce even though the menu says caramel sauce, and I figured the waitress asked the kitchen to put both.
There's a milk ice cream on the top.
Ice cream was cold and the outside of the tortilla was crispy.
Cheesecake inside was described as New York style, but as it's fried, I couldn't feel denseness but only creaminess and smoothness.

オースティンの州間高速道路35にあるダブルツリー バイ ヒルトンに滞在中、食事をする
ためにデニーズに行くことにした。
デニーズに向かって歩いている途中、ビキニ姿のウェイトレスの大きな写真が貼られた
バスがあって気になったので、デニーズの代わりにこのビキニズ スポーツバー&グリルに
行ってきた。
私はフーターズへも喜んで行くタイプの人間なので、露出の高い制服のお店に行くことに
抵抗は全くない。
本当に店員がビキニを着ているのか疑っていたけれど、本当にビキニだった。
ウェイトレスはビキニにデニムのショートパンツとウェスタンブーツを履いていた。
写真は撮らなかったけれど、ケチャップに貼られている写真のような格好だった。
ちなみに、タバスコのバッファロー味を見たのは初めてだった。
すぐにウェイトレスがメニューを持ってきてくれた。
フーターズと同じくナプキンに名前を書いていて、空いている席に座りメニューの説明を
していた。
飲み物がすぐに出され、アペタイザーとしてウォームアップスの項目にあったフライド
マック&チーズを注文した。
フライド マック&チーズ
5個の球体の上にネギが乗っていて、真ん中にはコリアンダー ランチソースが添えられて
いた。
ウェイトレスによると、夜に比べて昼の時間帯の方がこのフライド マック&チーズがサク
サクし、軽く、丁度良い揚げ色に仕上がっていると言っていた。
パン粉が付いた外側は本当にサクッとしていて、中のマック&チーズは温かくチーズが
伸びた。
メイン イベントとランチスペシャルに載っていた「チキン フライド チキン」をメインに
選んだ。
* 11〜14時まではこのメニューは7.99ドルと書かれていたけれど、レシートを見ると通常
価格の12.99ドルだった。
注文したのが14時直前だったので、ランチスペシャルは適応されなかったのかも。
チキン フライド チキン
衣を薄く付けて揚げた鶏胸肉にペッパーグレービーソース、マッシュポテト、ミックス
ベジタブル、グリルド テキサス トーストが含まれる。
フライドチキンには白いグレービーソースとパプリカがかかっていた。
衣はカリカリでスパイスの良い香りがし、グレービーソースはクリーミーだった。
鶏胸肉はしっとりしていた。
ミックスベジタブルはブロッコリー、赤パプリカ、インゲン豆だった。
ニンジンに似た明るい黄色の野菜も入っていた。
マッシュポテトは半分が滑らかで、半分がごろっとした食感だった。
中に見えるピンク色っぽいものはベーコンではなく、ジャガイモの皮だった。
タバスコのバッファロー味をかけてみたところ、タバスコの酸っぱ辛い味にスモーキーな
後味だった。
テキサストーストは私の知っているダンキンドーナツのものよりも薄かった。
トーストにはバター等は塗られていなかったと思う。
ウェイトレスはとても話好きで、よく気がつき、飲み物や食べ物を確認しにテーブルへ
頻繁に来ていた。
私が初めてフライドチキンとグレービーソースを食べると旦那が言うと、彼女はとても
驚いていて、私がどこ出身なのか聞いた。
（興味津々な様子で、決して見下すような聞き方ではなかった）
デザートにフライド チーズケーキを注文するか迷っていると、ウェイトレスがそれほど
大きくはないと言っていたので頼むことにした。
また、キャラメルとチョコレートソースは好きか聞かれたので、両方好きだと伝えた。
フライド チーズケーキ
フラワートルティーヤでチーズケーキを巻いて揚げ、砂糖とシナモンがかかっていた。
メニューにはキャラメルソースとのみ記載されていたけれど、チョコレートソースも
かかっていたので、恐らくウェイトレスがキッチンに両方かけるよう伝えたのだと予想。
上に乗っていたミルクアイスクリームは冷たく、トルティーヤはサクサクだった。
中のチーズケーキはニューヨークスタイルと書かれていたけれど、揚げてあるので濃厚な
食感はなく、クリーミーで滑らかだった。
