Fujisan Meisui Ori Kuzumochi

(Japanese follows. /

Sister-in-law gave me "Fujisan Meisui Ori Kuzumochi."
Fujisan (富士山) is mount Fuji, and Meisui (名水) is famous spring water, Ori (折) is to fold something or to be folded and Kuzumochi (くず餅) is mochi made with pueraria montana powder.
This sweets are made with spring water from Mt. Fuji 100%.
The water once was snow, then it goes through the layers of earth that is 3,000 meters (1.86 miles) slowly and appears as water after several decades.

In the box, there're 15 pieces of individually wrapped mochi neatly.

I removed the plastic and took a pouch, that was like a peer on the outside and shiny inside.

Between rectangle Kuzumochi, there's sweet red bean jam.

Kuzumochi was soft, stretchy, and flabby.

Kuzumochi itself had some sweetness and it's smooth and chewy, and the sweet red bean jam in the center was strained and silky with subtle saltiness.
It's even tastier when it's chilled.
