(Japanese follows. /
One of the souvenirs I got from mother-in-law was Israeli chocolate called "Taami" manufactured by Elite.
I can't read Hebrew, so I had to research what it's called as I forgot to ask her.
There're 4 individual chocolate sticks were inside of the package as written 4 on the right bottom.
I'm so thankful that Arabic numbers were invented.
I thought it'd be dark chocolate when I saw the package, but it's milk chocolate.
We stored them in the refrigerator, so the caramel wasn't melty but a bit tough and was stuck on the teeth for a while.
There're puffs in the ganache and it was light and had delicate crunchiness.
It's certainly Kosher, U Kosher.
Regarding U Kosher mark, it's labeled as Ⓤ, The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (UOJCA), known as the Orthodox Union (OU).
But other than that, I have no idea what they say (except the website and the phone number).
I guess Taami is sold in the states, too, but it's my first time to try this chocolate.
The chocolate was smoother than KitKat, and in a bar, there're various textures; caramel, puffs, and ganache.

The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (UOJCA)、略して the Orthodox Union (OU) 。
Hey :) I'm Israeli and really enjoy reading your blog so here's the translation of what it is:
A milk chocolate snack with rice puffs filled with nougat cream (36%) and caramel (18%)
I think it's actually one of the chocolate snacks that taste really good slightly melted XD
Hi :D
削除Thank you very much for such a motivating comment.
And toda raba for the translation!!! Phew, now I know what it was.
I still have 2 more Taami, so I'll take out from the refrigerator to set it room temperature when I eat them ;)
No problem at all :) if anything else needs translating from Hebrew I'd be happy to help.
削除Also if you'd like it could be interesting to do some kind of snack exchange, there are lots of interesting Israeli snacks and sweets and I'd love to try some Japanese or American stuff (I don't keep kosher personally, so that at least isn't a problem)
Thank you very much for your kindness!
削除Snack exchange is always fun to do; currently I live in the states and feel like I'm always surrounded by snacks.
If there's no specific rule to choose food, it's easier for me to pick up some.
I was actually looking through some menu of McDonald's in Israel, and I was surprised to see they sell cheeseburgers. (0_0;)
Well then if you're up to it I'd be happy to do a snack exchange ^_^
削除And yeah, they do have cheeseburgers but it depends on the location. Some McDonalds in Israel are kosher so they don't have any dairy products (Usually the icecreams and such are sold in a separate little stall so the kitchens aren't the same) but there are many non-kosher McDonalds as well were you can get cheeseburgers and such, but I don't think the ever sold any pork or shrimp products even in the non-kosher ones... we also don't have breakfast items here for some reason.
