I bought a slice of plain cheesecake with Chanukah Cupcake from Junior's, and I thought I had reviewed their cheesecake before as I've had their cheesecakes several times, but apparently this is the first time to write about it.

The surface was light brown towards the edge, and the inside was white.

I think the most popular ingredient used for the base is crushed cookies, but this cheesecake had soft texture like sponge cake.

The cheesecake was rich, creamy and thick which I like when I eat a plain cheesecake.
It had sour and refreshing lemon scent so that I'm sure that they used quite a lot of cream cheese in this.

First I was skeptical about the sponge cake at the bottom, but with dense textured part, the sponge cake added a bit of moist and made me less thirsty than cookie crumbs.

Chanukah Cupcake


ジュニアズでハヌカ カップケーキと一緒にプレーンチーズケーキも1切れ買った。
何度か食べているのでレビューを書いたと思っていたけれど、今まで感想を書いたことが
ないようで、初めてレビューを書く。

表面は端に向かって明るい茶色をしていて、中身は白色だった。
底の部分はよくある砕いたクッキーかと思ったけれど、スポンジケーキのような柔らかい
食感の土台だった。

チーズケーキはクリーミーで濃厚で、私がチーズケーキに求める食感だった。
レモンの酸味とすっきりした香りがし、このチーズケーキにたっぷりとクリームチーズが
使われていると想像がついた。
食べるまでは底のスポンジケーキが美味しいか怪しく思っていたけれど、少しだけ水分を
足していてクッキーを砕いたものよりもむっちりした食感のケーキと合っていたと思う。
