When I was watching an old Keeping Up With The Kardashians, (please don't judge me,) I saw Kim wanted to try Cronuts but her friend instead brought back a box from Paris Baguette and said it's the Cronuts.
It looked larger and flatter than real pastry, but I was curious how well they copied it and gave it a try.

When I got to one of the locations around 2:30 PM on a weekday, there're only 2 pieces left and I got one of them.

The photo showed it's a "flaky croissant" with "blueberry yogurt cream" filling inside.

Paris Baguette is a bakery chain and though they also sell pastries, they carelessly put the fragile croissant donut into a plastic bag, and by that, I had an impression that they really don't care about the characteristics of each product and throw them into bags.

When I lifted the pastry, the plate had a pond of oil and that looked worse than real Cronuts.

Despited the greasiness, the pasty had crispiness when I cut with a knife and it had more pastry puff feature than DA's Cronuts.

The filling was lightly sour blueberry flavored yogurt cream and it's refreshing.

When I placed a kitchen paper, it absorbed lots of oil and became oily-soggy.
While the flavor and texture weren't bad, it's incredibly fatty.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians（日本語では「カーダシアン家のお騒がせセレブ

ライフ」と表示）の古いエピソードを見ていた時、キムがクロナッツを食べたいと言い、
友人がパリ バゲットの箱を持って帰って来て、クロナッツだと言って渡していた。
本物よりも大きく高さがない印象だったけれど、どれだけ似ているか気になったので
食べてみることにした。

1番近い店舗に平日の14時半頃行くと、2個しか残っていなかったので1個買った。

写真に「サクサクのクロワッサン」に「ブルーベリーヨーグルトクリーム」のフィリング
入りだと書かれていた。

パリ バゲットはパン屋のチェーンで、ケーキも販売しているものの、崩れやすいこの
クロワッサンドーナツは無造作にビニール袋に入れられたので、個々の商品の特徴を
気にせずに袋詰めするという印象を受けた。

スイーツを持ち上げるとお皿には油がべっとりと付いていて、本物のクロナッツよりも
油っこそうだった。

ギトギトだったものの、ナイフを入れるとサクサクとした音がし、ドミニクアンセルの
クロナッツよりもパイの要素が強かった。

フィリングは少し酸味のあるブルーベリー味のヨーグルトクリームで、さっぱりして
いた。

キッチンペーパーを敷いておくと、すぐに油でベトベトになっていた。
味や食感は悪くないものの、とてつもなく油っこかった。
