We went to Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in New Jersey last weekend, and it's a family-friendly medieval themed restaurant chain featuring with sword-fighting, joust-fighting, horses, eagle and casts.
We had our tickets printed out so that all we had to was to proceed towards here and in exchange, we each got a meal card which indicates which section you'd seating. (There're 6 sections divided by colors.)
Table was number 8.
Smaller numbers are given to those who arrive early, and the smaller numbered tables sit closer to the fighting field.
If you'd like to be closer to the ground, it's better to be there early. (We got here about 1 hour before the performance time.)
However, the theater is designed to enable everyone to see the show very well.
After receiving the ticket, we got a crown to wear that was the same color was the meal ticket.
The path led us to a large hall where you wait till they let you go into the dining area looking down tournament area.
The hall had bars, souvenir shops, photo booth and bathrooms.
Samples in souvenir cups and glasses.
Non-alcoholic frozen blueberry in a blinking souvenir cup.
It's REALLY bright!
By clicking the button at the bottom, you can change the settings from bright-blinking lights > gradation > single color > no light.

15 minutes before that showtime, an entourage and musicians appeared at the balcony in the hall and announced who goes which door based on the meal ticket and crown colors.
We proceeded to the table with "8" and took vacant seats.
At Medieval Times, you're supposed to eat with hands and they're not giving you knife or fork.
There's a pouch of sanitizing wet paper.
Paper napkin had a list of locations and menu.
They also had vegetarian option, and all you need to do is to tell the cast who is in charge of your table.
(You don't need to reserve vegetarian meal beforehand.)

Soon, a cast started serving Tomato Soup.
This soup doesn't contain any animal broth or pieces.
It's a quite heavy cup.
It's lightly sour tomato soup with finely chopped vegetables.
While drinking the tomato soup, a Warm Garlic Bread was served.
Garlic buttered surface was crispy and the inside was very fluffy.
Opening.
They had several options; diet pepsi, regular pepsi, ginger ale, etc.
Rasted Chicken
It's a generous amount of half chicken.
Sweet Buttered Corn and Herb-Roasted Potato were served.
Both chicken and potato were seasoned very well, and the chicken was surprisingly roasted to perfect.
Before serving dessert, they gave us wet towels.
Pastry of the Castle was apple jam filled pastry puff.
Luckily the cinnamon was so light that I enjoyed this warm pasty a lot.
I finished this in seconds.
Our color = blue knight won!
Ever since this knight showed up at the beginning, I thought he looked like WWE Roman Reigns.
The original ticket didn't contain gratuity or service charge, and we left some cash.
It's interesting to see the medieval themed show with actual animals and (dressed-up) knights fight, and as they use metal arms, there're sparks every time the swords struck each other.
I thought the sound systems and the lights were good, and it's a fun dining experience for kids and adults, also.

上演時間の15分前に側近と演奏者がバルコニーに現れ、食事券と王冠の色によって
入るドアが違うことなどを説明した。
8と書かれたテーブルに向かい、空いていた席に着いた。
除菌ペーパーが置いてあった。
ナプキンには店舗リスト、メニューが載っていた。
ベジタリアンのオプションもあり、席の担当者が食事券を取りに来た時に伝える。
（ベジタリアンの食事は予約不要）
ランチョンマット
席からの景色。
すぐにトマトスープが注がれた。
このスープに動物性の出汁や具材は入っていない。
かなりずっしりとしたカップだった。
少し酸味のあるトマトスープで、細かく刻んだ野菜が入っていた。
スープを飲んでいる時、温かいガーリックブレッドが出された。
ガーリックバターが塗られた表面はサクッとし、中がふわふわで美味しかった。
この後にショーが始まった。

飲み物はダイエットペプシ、ペプシ、ジンジャーエールなどが選べた。
ローストチキン
かなり大きなチキンで、1人1人にハーフチキン（半身）が配られた。
バターを塗ったトウモロコシ、ハーブ ローストポテトも出された。
ローストチキンもポテトも味がしっかりと付いていて、特にローストチキンはとてもよく
焼けていた。
デザートが配布される前にウェットタオルが配られた。
ペイストリー オブ ザ キャッスルは、アップルジャムが入ったパイだった。
シナモンの味が軽かったので、この温かいスイーツを美味しく食べられた。
数秒でパクッと食べてしまった。
私たちの色＝青の騎士が勝った。
最初にこの騎士が現れてから、ずっとWWEのロマン・レインズに似ていると思っていた。
チケットにチップやサービス料は含まれないので、帰り際に現金を少し置いて行った。
中世をテーマにしたショーに動物や騎士が現れ、殺陣や馬上槍試合が見られて興味深く、
金属の武器がぶつかるたびに火花が散っていた。
照明や音響も良く、子供も大人も楽しめるレストランだと思った。

Before dessert was served, they asked if I wanted a container to bring back the leftover of the main and also coffee was served, and I could enjoy the meal with the show.

良いと思う。（私たちは上演時間の約1時間前に到着した）
ただ、どの席からも決闘の広場はよく見えるようになっている。
食事券をもらった後、席と同じ色の王冠が配布された。
通りを抜けると大きなホールに着き、決闘を見ながら食事をする会場に案内されるまで
ここで待った。
バーやお土産店、写真撮影サービス、お手洗いなどがあった。
