When we're on the subway, we saw an advertisement about Oreo Hot Chocolate sold at Seven Eleven.

As it's a limited time product, I went to the closest Seven Eleven after lunch.
I thought they'd have a special machine solely designed for the flavor, but not and there's only a paper rack with Oreo cookies.

"Pour your favorite!"
On the far right, there's a button of Oreo Hot Chocolate.

I grabbed a Small cup set under the counter.

I pressed the button and dark colored liquid came out from the tube.

It had sweet scent like ordinary hot chocolate, but the color was definitely deeper like Oreo cookies.

It's sweet but watery and the texture was subtly slimy.
It had some bitterness of Oreo cookies, and I enjoyed the 1/3rd of the cup then I got tired of the watery yet sweet flavor.

Somehow my purchase was 50 cents before tax.

I saw that a small cup of coffee was on sale, and I said I had poured Oreo Hot Chocolate, the cashier didn't say anything but the screen showed "50 cents."

When my husband went to buy it, only hot water came out and when an employee fixed the machine, I saw there's a tank filled with Oreo Hot Chocolate powder set in the machine.
I thought the machine held the beverage as a liquid form but the powder is mixed with hot water when it's coming out of the machine, which was interesting to learn.

地下鉄に乗っていた時、セブンイレブンで販売されているオレオ ホットチョコレートの広告を見つけた。
期間限定商品と書かれていたので、お昼ご飯を食べた後に1番近くのセブンイレブンに
行った。
このドリンク専用の機械があるのかと思ったら何も凝ったものはなく、紙のラックに
オレオクッキーが入っていた。

機械の右端に「オレオ ホットチョコレート」と書かれていて、カウンターの下にあった
Sサイズのカップを設置した。
ボタンを押すと濃い色の液体が筒から出てきた。
通常のホットチョコレートと同じような甘い香りがし、色はオレオクッキーのように
濃い色だった。

甘いものの水っぽく、少しとろみがある質感だった。
オレオクッキーの苦味も多少あり、3分の1カップは美味しく飲めたけれど、徐々に水分が
多いものの甘い味に飽きてしまった。

支払い時、税抜きで50セントと表示されていた。
コーヒーのSサイズがセールで50セントとは見ていたので、店員にオレオ ホットチョコ
レートを入れたと言ったけれど、金額表示は50セントのままだった。

旦那が買いに行った時は、熱湯だけが出てきたので店員に伝えて機械を見てもらった時、
オレオ ホットチョコレートの粉末が入ったタンクが機械の中に入っていた。
最初から飲み物が液体の状態で保管されているのではなく、ボタンを押して注ぐ際に
粉末と熱湯が混ざる仕組みだと分かり、興味深かった。
