Pepperidge Farm: Milano Cookies Chocolate Chili

We found Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies Chocolate Chili at Target last weekend.
It's a limited time flavor and I think I saw the flavor somewhere on internet in January or February, so in any case, it's new and available for a certain period.
On the front, there're Milano cookies with a hot pepper and chunks of chocolate.
On the back, there're 2 Milano cookies and description of this flavor.
"Discover the winning flavor voted by consumers in a recent online contest.
The perfect contrast of rich luxurious chocolate and spicy chili flavor.
They won't be around forever, so enjoy limited edition Milano chocolate chili flavored cookies while they last!"
When I opened the bag, I could only smell sweet chocolate scent.
The cookie was pale as usual.
There're caramel colored chocolate and dark chocolate, which turned out semi-sweet chocolate according to the ingredients list.
When I had a bite, I only tasted sweetness of chocolate and cookie, and I tasted no spiciness.
However, a couple of seconds after I swallowed it, I felt little tanginess on my tongue and in my throat.

There're caramel colored chocolate and dark chocolate, which turned out semi-sweet chocolate according to the ingredients list.
When I had a bite, I only tasted sweetness of chocolate and cookie, and I tasted no spiciness.
However, a couple of seconds after I swallowed it, I felt little tanginess on my tongue and in my throat.
When I solely ate the pale brown chocolate, it's sweet first then gradually heat was coming out.
Overall, it's sweet and Special KitKat "Chili" had more obvious spiciness than this.
I wish it's spicier but there's no hot pepper listed on the ingredients, so I guess this is the best they could do.

先週末ターゲットでペパリッジファーム ミラノクッキーの限定味「チョコレートチリ」を
見つけた。
1月か2月にネットで見たので新商品であることは間違いない。
表にはミラノクッキー、赤唐辛子、チョコレートの塊が載っていた。
裏面にはクッキーが2枚と味の説明があった。
「最近のオンラインコンテストで消費者によって選ばれたフレーバーは、濃厚で贅沢な
チョコレートと辛い唐辛子味の完璧なコントラスト。
通年フレーバーではないので、期間限定ミラノ チョコレート チリ味のクッキーをぜひ
ご賞味ください！」と書かれていた。
袋を開けると、甘いチョコレートの香りだけがした。
クッキーはいつも通り淡い焼き色が付いていて、間にはキャラメル色のチョコレートと
ダークチョコレートが挟まれていた。
ただ、原材料名を見るとこれはダークではなくセミスイートらしい。
一口食べるとチョコレートとクッキーの甘さしかせず、全然辛さがなかった。
ただ、飲み込んでから数秒後に舌と喉に少しだけピリッとした感覚が残った。
淡い色のチョコレートだけ食べると、最初は甘いけれどじわじわと辛さが出てきた。
全体的に甘く、スペシャルキットカット「チリ」よりも唐辛子の辛さは弱い。
もう少し辛くても良かった気がするけれど、原材料に唐辛子とは書かれていなかったので
この味が限界なのかも。
