In October, my husband found this new limited season flavor called “Linzer Raspberry.”

As always, I have some other priorities to eat and write, so I’d been looking at this cookies but hadn’t eaten till today.

The package has holiday trees on the top with white and green over dark red color.

The cookies inside looked very pale and had o powder sugar on the surface.

Around the snowflake pattern, some white sugar was left.

The raspberry sauce was thick, sour, and sweet like jam.
And I tasted some cinnamon and other spices, though they didn’t indicate exactly what they put and put “spices” in the list.

This cookie already has strong raspberry taste, and it also contains subtle yet strong spice scent so that it didn't make me wanna eat a lot at once.

The texture was light and the cookie was very fragile and had different texture from “crispy,” so I thought it’d contain almonds powder.
However, there’s no nuts listed in the ingredients list.
Usually Linzer uses almonds, walnuts or hazelnuts powder to create crumbly texture but on the ingredients list, so I wonder how they produced the light cookie.

10月に旦那が買ってきた新期間限定商品「リンザー ラズベリー」。

パッケージの赤い背景の上には白と緑のツリーが飾られていた。
ずっと気になりながら他に食べるものや書くものがあり、今日まで食べる機会が

なかった。

淡い色のクッキーは粉砂糖がほとんど残っておらず、雪の結晶の周りに少し白い砂糖が

見える程度。

ラズベリーのフィリングはどろっとして甘酸っぱく、ジャムのようだった。
また、シナモンや他のスパイスの味がしたけれど、材料には「スパイス」とのみ書かれ

ていたので、何が使われたか詳細は不明。

ラズベリーの味もはっきりし、このスパイスの味も特徴があるので沢山食べたくなる味

ではなかった。

食感は軽く、サクサクしたクッキーとは違うもろさがあったので、アーモンドパウダーが

入っているかと思ったけれど、原材料名を見るとナッツ類は載っていなかった。
通常リンザーはもろい食感を出すためにアーモンドやクルミ、ヘーゼルナッツの粉が

使われるけれど、これらを使用せずにどうやってこの食感を出したのか気になった。
