Tirol-Choco is one of the long-selling chocolates in Japan.
It's produced by Tirol-Choco Co., Ltd. and the concept was to let kids enjoy chocolate reasonable price.
The first Tirol-Choco was launched in 1962, which was 3 chocolate cubes were connected and to lower the cost, they put nougat inside, and it's sold for 10 yen.
However, due tot he Oil Shock in 1973, the they separated the bar into 3 pieces and sold for 10 yen from 1979, and the advertising line was "If you have 10 yen, get a Tirol-Choco."
On November 11, 2014, they launched a special Tirol-Choco at Lawson only called "Cheese & Cheese."
It's meant for Beaujolais Nouveau which is released 3rd Thursday in every November to enjoy the local product's new wine, and the package has "To enjoy with wine" on the top.
On the back, there're 2 cheeses which were shown on the front; gouda and blue cheese.
In the package, it had very strong blue cheese scent.
There're 7 chocolates and 4 were blue cheese, and the rest was gouda.
Blue Cheese
3 sides had different patterns, and they're "Cheese & Cheese Chocolate," "Tirol" and "Blue Cheese Choco."
At the bottom, it says "Blue Cheese Choco."
From the top and bottom, I could see this contains some fillings.
When I bit, somehow I tasted peppery flavor and there're raisins and crushed peanuts, latter of which created crunchiness.
I was pretty afraid how bad it'd be, but it wasn't that stinky than I had thought.
When I had the whole piece at once, the odor stayed in my mouth and nose, though to eat little by little didn't bother me much.
Gouda Cheese
Same as Blue Cheese, there're 3 different lines on the individual wrap.
"Cheese & Cheese Chocolate," "Tirol" and "Gouda Cheese Choco."
At the bottom, it says "Gouda Cheese Choco."
This one, Gouda, didn't have any fillings I could see through.
Gouda had the distinguish and rich scent.
When I ate it, the cheese added some saltiness and white chocolate flavor was as strong as gouda cheese.
I felt like I was eating a salty cheesecake made with gouda.
They're both less stinky and weird, but I don't think I'd buy this again.

株式会社によって製造されている。
コンセプトは子供でもチョコレートを食べられるようにというもので、1962年当時は
3つの山が連なったチョコレートを10円で販売していて、コストを下げるためにヌガーを
詰めていた。
ただ、1973年のオイルショック以降物価が上がり、3つの山を崩して1個10円で売るように
なり、当時のキャッチフレーズは「10円あったらチロルチョコ」だったらしい。
2014年11月11日に、ローソン限定でチロルチョコ「チーズ&チーズ」が発売された。
これは毎年11月の第三木曜日に解禁されるボジョレーヌーボーに合わせたもので、袋の
上には「ワインと楽しむ」と書かれていた。
袋の表と裏には同じチーズの絵が載っていて、ゴーダチーズとブルーチーズと書いて
あった。
袋を開けるとかなり強いブルーチーズの香りがした。
7個のチョコレートのうち4個がブルーチーズ、3個がゴーダチーズだった。
ブルーチーズ
3ヶ所の側面に「Cheese & Cheese Chocolate」「チロル」「ブルーチーズチョコ」と
記載されていて、裏面には「ブルーチーズチョコ」と書かれていた。
チョコの上部、下部からは具材が透けて見えていた。
かじってみるとなぜか胡椒に似た味がし、中にはピーナッツとレーズンが入っていて、
サクサクした食感があった。
食べる前にドキドキしたけれど、思ったよりも臭みはなかった。
一度に1個食べると臭みが口と鼻に残るけれど、少しずつかじる分には耐えられる匂い。
ゴータヂーズ
ブルーチーズと同じように、個包装の3面に「Cheese & Cheese Chocolate」「チロル」
「ゴーダチーズチョコ」と書かれていて、底には「ゴーダチーズチョコ」と載っていた。
ゴーダチーズはフィリングが何も入っていないようで、真っ白なチョコレートだった。
ゴーダチーズ独特の濃厚な香りがしたけれど、ホワイトチョコレートの味も強く、ゴーダ
チーズを使った塩気のあるチーズケーキを食べているようだった。
思ったほど臭みやチーズ臭さは弱かったけれど、また買おうとは思わない。
