I had a lunch with one of my husband's relatives, and we went to one of her favorite diners called "Landmark Coffee Shop" in Soho.
It's a diner, so I knew what I was gonna get before we went there, a grilled cheese. 

The interior was classic, and there're tables and a counter.

First a waitress asked if we wanted to drink first, so I asked for a water.
She ordered a coffee, and the waitress came back and pour more when the cup was empty.

I got a grilled cheese with American cheese on white bread, and also added fries, so the waitress said, "Deluxe" to the kitchen.

Soon my grilled cheese was served with fries and a large pickle.

The grilled cheese was very plain and simple, which I love, and butter on the surface, that I also think it's essential.
The bread and crust were crispy and flaky.

Cheese was gooey and rich, and it's so good with crispy and buttery bread.

I've had some grilled cheese without butter on the bread and I realized how important the little ingredient is for a tasty grilled cheese when I had this.

Fries were fresh and crispy outside, and moist inside.
I think they're unsalted so I could taste the potato flavor well.

A piece of pickle was ordinary, sweet-and-sour, soft, but crunchy.

The employees were joking each other so that I could tell they're a good team.
And the employees were very caring and pay attention to the customers for example, the waitress came to pour more coffee.

旦那の親戚の1人とソーホーにある「ランドマークコーヒーショップ」というお店で

昼食を食べた。

彼女のお勧めのお店の1つで、ダイナーと聞いて私は行く前からグリルドチーズを注文

しようと決めていた。

インテリアはずっと昔から変えていないような造りで、テーブル席とカウンター席が

あった。

先に飲み物を聞かれたので、私は水をもらった。

彼女はコーヒーを頼み、カップが空になるとお代わりを注ぎに来てくれた。

メニューはお店のHPで全て見ることができる。

私はグリルドチーズ（アメリカンチーズと白いパン）、フライドポテトを付けたので

ウェイトレスが「デラックス」と キッチンに伝えていた。

すぐにフライドポテト、大きなピクルスが添えられたグリルドチーズが出された。

グリルドチーズはシンプルなもので、パンの表面にはバターが塗ってあり、私にとっては

両方とも大好きで必要不可欠な要素。

チーズはむにっとして濃厚で、サクサクのパンとよく合っていた。

バターが塗られていないグリルドチーズを食べたことがあるけれど、やはりバターが

塗ってあるとパンも乾いていなくて香りもよく、美味しい。

ポテトは揚げたてで外側はサクサクしていて、中はしっとりしていた。

塩がかかっていなかったので、ジャガイモの味がよく分かった。

ピクルスはよくある甘酸っぱく、柔らかさとカリッとした食感があった。

店員同士が冗談を言いあう明るい雰囲気のダイナーで、コーヒーを注いでくれるなど

お客にちゃんと注意を払っている店員たちだった。
