Grilled Cheese From Lyman Orchards
ライマン・オーチャーズのグリルドチーズ

We went to Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, Connecticut for apple picking and pumpkin patch.
Before we stared, we had a quick lunch at Apple Barrel Market and as they had grilled cheese, I decided to get one.

I could choose bread and cheese, so I went for whole grain and American cheese.
They put white American cheese while I was thinking it'd be orange that I'm used to.
The way they prepared was new to me.
They put two bread slices with cheese on top on the grill as if they're making open sandwiches, plus no butter or margarine on the bread.
And after 5 minutes or so, they finally took the 2 slices with melted cheese off from the grill, and pressed the cheese side together, and cut into half.
The cheese was melted great and the toasts were crispy.
However, without butter on the bread, the flavor wasn't that appetizing besides the bread felt a bit dry as nothing was keeping the bread moist.
Every time I ordered American cheese, they're orange all the time, so the white one had less flavor.

オーチャーズへ行ってきた。
リンゴ狩りと畑にあるカボチャを選びに行く前にアップルバレルマーケットで昼食を
取ることにし、グリルドチーズが載っていたので注文することにした。

パンとチーズの種類を選択できたので、全粒粉パンとアメリカンチーズを選んだ。
アメリカンチーズは見慣れているオレンジ色かと思ったら、白いチーズだった。
作り方は今まで見たことがない方法で、チーズを乗せた2枚のパンをそれぞれ鉄板に
乗せ、オープンサンドイッチを作るかのように焼いていた。
また、パンにはバターやマーガリンは塗られていなかった。
5分ほどしてやっとパンがグリルから取り出され、チーズの面同士をくっつけ、包丁で
半分にカットされた。
チーズは綺麗に溶けていて、パンもサクサクに焼けていたけれどバターが塗られていない
のであまり美味しそうな香りはせず、何も塗られていないためパンが乾いた状態。
これまでアメリカンチーズを頼むといつもオレンジ色だったので、白いアメリカンは
少し味気なかった。
