When I got a Croissant from DONQ, I also bought a Maple French Toast.
It's a baguette french toast with maple syrup.

The surface was grilled and golden brown, and it's a thick diagonal sliced baguette.

The other side was also grilled and I could see egg wash color on this side, too.

I had a bite when it' cold, and it had sweet maple flavor with a bit wet texture on the top but it's not soaked entirely in egg wash.

I microwaved this toast for 30 seconds uncovered, and it had more maple flavor and the appaleil was juicy.
Despite the 6cm (2.4 inch) tall, it's softer and fluffier when it's warm.

It'd be richer and more flavorful if the bread had absorbed egg wash wholly, but it's a handy french toast that I don't need to add anything.

Thick Sliced Brioche French Toast From Seven Eleven

ドンクでクロワッサンを買った時、一緒にメープルフレンチトーストも買った。

これはフランスパンのフレンチトーストで、メープルシロップも使われている。

表面はきつね色に焼かれていて、バゲットが斜めに厚くスライスされていた。
反対側もグリルされていて、こちらも卵液の黄色が見えた。

冷えた状態で食べると、メープルの風味がして、表面は少し湿り気があった。
ただ、卵液は内側までは染みていないのが分かった。
レンジで30秒、ラップをかけずに温めるとメープルの香りが広がり、卵液のジュワッと
した食感が出た。
6センチほどの厚みがあったけれど、温めた後はふんわりと柔らかく食べやすかった。

パンが卵液を全体的に吸っていれば、もっと濃厚で美味しかったとは思うけれど、これは
これで何も足さずに食べられるフレンチトーストで良かった。
