My husband bought me 3 cakes from Dominique Ansel for my birthday.
He can't eat cake this week, so he chose these mini cakes so that I can try different flavors.

Underneath the cakes, there're plastic tapes so that the cakes wouldn't slid while carrying, and that reminded me of Japanese department stores.

First, I tried Guava Sesame Panna Cotta.
It's described as "toasted sesame panna cotta, guava and pink champagne gelee, white sesame cake, topped with crisp meringue shards."

From the side.

Pale gray colored meringue shards had black and white sesames and they were light and fragile, and it disappeared after I chewed several times.
In the center, there's a whipped cream or some fluffy white cream.

The panna cotta was smooth and light, and the guava and pink champagne jelly at the bottom was fruity.
And it had different texture from the 2 pink jellies on the top as they're chewier and harder.

It's not written, but sometimes I had some tanginess like ginger, but the spiciness didn't appear evenly so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like this.

In the center of the panna cotta, there's white sesame cake an it's wet and soft, and it had sesame flavor.

誕生日に、旦那がドミニクアンセルのケーキを3種類買ってきてくれた。
旦那は今週ケーキを食べられないので、私が色々な種類のケーキを食べられるように
あえてミニケーキを選んできた。
ケーキの下にはセロテープが貼ってあり、持ち運んでいる間にケーキがずれないように
なっていて、日本のデパートを思い出した。

最初に食べたのは、グアバ セサミ パンナコッタ。
「トーストしたゴマのパンナコッタ、グアバとピンク シャンパンのゼリー、白ゴマの
ケーキ、サクサクしたメレンゲの欠片のトッピング」と書かれていた。

上に乗っていたメレンゲは薄い灰色で黒ゴマと白ゴマが乗っていて、サクッとしとても
もろかく、数回噛むとしゅわっと消えた。
メレンゲの中心には生クリームかふんわりしたクリームがあった。

パンナコッタは軽く滑らかで、底のグアバとピンク シャンパンのゼリーはフルーティー
だった。
上に乗っていたピンクのゼリーはもう少し固く、ねっとりしていて、底のゼリーとは違う
食感だった。

説明には載っていなかったけれど、時々ショウガのようなピリッとした風味があった。
ただ、全体にこの風味があったわけではないので、ショウガの味がするものなのかどうか
分からない。

パンナコッタの中心には白ゴマケーキが入っていて、水分が多く柔らかく、白ゴマの
良い香りがした。
