Today, I found a weird product at Aeon, a retail store chain.
They're having "American Fair" and this "Nissin American Noodle 'Hot Dog.'" 
There's "Hamburger Flavor" too but I wasn't brave enough to buy it so I only bought Hot Dog Flavor as it looked slightly edible.

When I peeled off the plastic outside, meaty flavor came out immediately.
It's definitely pork sausage flavor.

The cup and lid had national flag patterns (red, blue, white, and stars).

On the side, there's a picture of hot dog to enhance the flavor image.

When I opened the lid, there're a lot of thinly sliced sausages, dried cabbages, and also unknown red objects.

After pouring hot water, I saw they're red bell peppers.
And also I realized there're sliced onions, too.

Soup was tomato based and had spiciness, thus it's "hot chili flavor" as it's written on the package.
However, it tasted similar to one of the Japanese snacks called "Don Tacos," a corn chips snack produced by Koikeya, as it's had sour and cheesy flavor.

The noodles were skinnier than that of regular Cup Noodle.
It's more than "edible" but not sure if I liked it.
I wonder if they meant "Chili Dog" or "Hot Dog with Hot Chili Soup" when they created this product.

今日はイオンで変な物を見つけた。
イオンでは「アメリカンフェアー」を開催しているようで、「日清アメリカンヌードル『ホットドッグ風』」が
並べられていた。
この他に「ハンバーガー味」もあったけれど、試す勇気がなく、とりあえず「まだ食べられそう」と
思ったホットドッグ味を買ってみた。

ビニールをはがした瞬間に、肉臭さが漂った。
まさに豚肉ソーセージの香り。

カップと蓋はアメリカ国旗がデザインされていた（青、赤、白、星）。
カップの脇にはホットドッグの画があり、味のイメージを膨らませているようだった。

蓋をめくると、薄切りソーセージ、キャベツが見え、さらに得体の知れない赤い塊が沢山あった。
お湯を注ぐと赤ピーマンであることが分かった。
また、薄切りのタマネギが入っているのも見えた。

スープはトマトベースで、辛味があり「ホットチリ味」に間違いはないように感じた。
ただ、酸味がありチーズのような香りがお菓子のドンタコスにそっくりだった。

麺は通常のカップヌードルよりも細いように感じた。
「どうにか食べられる」と言うよりはずっと美味しかったけれど、気に入ったかは微妙。
この商品を作る時に「チリドッグ」をイメージしたのか、それとも「ホットドッグとチリスープ」を
イメージしたのか分からない味だった。
